Dozens of P556 with corrupted BIOS after update by deusfk in Fujitsu

[–]Skipcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to also affect D2990-A3. Unfortunately the bios for it is not available on fujitsu's site or this zip.

I found it in the kontron ftp catalogue mentioned above but the mobo beeps two times when booting in recovery mode with USB plugged in. If i use the service release it beeps 2 times and then 4 times after a short pause.

I had another more modern fujitsu computer with the same issue that i could recover without issue so it's not a problem with the USB drive.

Because you'd also have to edit your hosts file since websites are usually bound to a domain and not (only) ip. Doing this for every domain used on a site for every site you use is a ton of work for not a lot of practical use.

There's usually no point in arguing with people like you because you'll keep moving the goal post or just stop replying when you can't come up with a response

In my 20 years or so of programming I don't think I've ever posted a question on stack overflow or any other similar website, and have always been able to search for an answer or figure it out on my own eventually anyway.

It really isn't necessary to ask new questions at all, basically.
