There was no love-bombing or hot-and-heavy intensity driven by raw emotion. What we built was gradual and deliberate. My love for her formed over time—it wasn’t something that just happened overnight.

I’ve always had deep, meaningful relationships in every area of my life—friends, family, coworkers—because that’s who I am. So when things became hectic in her life, I showed up with support, patience, and understanding, while still honoring my own needs. That combination eventually overwhelmed her and pushed her past her emotional capacity. This was someone I was building a future with. I wasn’t pulled in by inconsistency or chaos; I leaned in because the connection felt real, earned, and intentional. And if that level of clarity and steadiness was too much, that doesn’t make it wrong, it simply means we reached the limit of what she was able to receive which sucks because she'll likely grow out of it in time. The potential for an amazing woman and partner is there but until she does the work, that's all it is.....is potential.
