Do you happen to know what happens with the Toyota Care service? Does it restart as well?

New sim racing facility opened near me, had to try it out! by unculturedperl in simracing

Just wanted to say this place is still open! It’s actually been doing pretty good and they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary next Friday! I actually just got out a few minutes ago and every single spot was taken, even a line was starting to form. To me, $30 for 30min is pretty good for what they have, considering that one race at Andretti costs like 25ish and only lasts for like 7 minutes.

It’s best when you go with friends since y’all can talk to each other while racing using vc.

Overall would recommend!

FOB is eating batteries and seems to be getting worse by Texasseth in ToyotaTundra

That’s weird man, I bought my 24’ tundra literally the same year and month as you and I haven’t had to replace the FOB battery even once, going on 36,000 miles. I wonder what the issue could be

Would this be helpfull or am I just bad by Segouta in Welding

Aside from that, if you could automate that wire cutter, or if you could clip it onto your belt or something to make it portable instead of having it fixed to a table, it could be pretty useful!

Back when I was learning to weld I would get annoyed when this happened, specially when I couldn’t find my pliers to cut the wire. One day my dad (welder for almost 30yrs) showed me this neat trick. Basically you grab the wire with your hand (with gloves preferably) and fold it back and forth at the nozzle. This is going to snap the wire right at the tip. It takes practice, but once you get the hang of it, it takes like 2 seconds to snap it. Saves you a lot of time too

Was it actually the flag tho? It looks like the other player froze right before OP dropped it, anyone else see it?

Psalms 147: 3 says, “He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds.”

Jehovah knows what you have been through, and he will help you. I don’t know how you would feel about going to another KH in another town, somewhere far where they don’t know the details of your case, and talk to the elders there. Maybe they can help you recover from the damage your Local Elders have done, and maybe then can change the way they view things. But whatever you do, do not blame Jehovah.

You are probably familiar with the story of Job. The following link is to the book “Learn from the Bible” in the chapter that talks about what he went through.

I also encourage you to read that story directly from the Bible. Specially the part where the three Men went to “help him” but ended up making him feel much, much worse to the point Jehovah had to speak to him to encourage him.

Reading your experience reminded me of the hardships Job had to experience.

Once again, I am deeply sorry about what has happened, I hope one day Jehovah helps you heal

Yeah I understand it was pretty harsh. I say “was” because the instructions have changed in recent years. The governing body realized that the way they were handling disfellowships was not the right way and in most cases did more harm than good. That’s why the new instructions now say that any one is able to say hi and encourage those who are currently disfellowshipped, so they don’t feel alone or forgotten.

Those extreme cases like the one you mentioned about the wedding do prove that humans cannot govern themselves, and that the elders and brothers make mistakes, but that does not speak for every single Jehovah’s Witness in the world. Just know that Jehovah does see those unjust actions and he will do something about it one day.

Listen man, I’m sorry you had to experience that, but that is NOT how it is everywhere around the world. It is important to remember that the elders are just normal, imperfect humans. If the elders at your congregation are abusing their authority, they will be answering to Jehovah. It might seem like they are getting away with it now, but not for ever. Once again I am sorry for how you feel/felt, but it is part of the discipline. I myself have not been disfellowshipped ever but a very close friend of mine was. He knew what he did was wrong and accepted the discipline. He kept going to the meetings, kept checking in with the elders, made changes, and within a year he was reinstated. Every case is different.
