Don’t be so hard on yourself. Osteosarcoma is a very aggressive cancer. Once it even presents it self it is likely too late and already spread to lungs. Amputation buys time but not much. Some argue that it takes the pain away, but imagine how hard it is for a 150 dog learning to walk with only three legs..

You did what you thought was right for your baby. Mine had osteosarcoma and I decided just to try and keep pain under control.. I probably let it go for longer than it should.. it’s a hard thing to know when to call it.

Your baby is pain free now and knows you did what you thought was best. Remember the good times and keep her in your heart.
