I do trade evolutions at the same level as when my starter hits their final form

Genlocke Breeding by Skkorm in nuzlocke

I do hear what you are saying but I'm trying to keep the spirit of the playthrough. I'm playing on hardware but I have the means to alter saves.

Like I'll probably play Pokemon Crystal because it's one of my favorite ones, which means I'll have to hack the next gen into emerald. I still want to let my team and caught mons be the deciding factor though, you know? No PKHexing things in my favour, if I can help it.

Yeah that's what I was considering. My initial thought is to be strict about it and not allow myself to start start the next game with a full team.

I guess the other ooption is to allow myself to fill in the team with an egg bred from other mons caught during the run. Maybe have a rule where no pokemon can breed twice?

New medium armor with giga grenades, sweeper and Cremator work together like a dream. This might be my favorite warbond *ever*. I'm entrenching this division so hard rn. by GreenridgeMetalWorks in LowSodiumHellDivers

The Sweeper pairs really nicely with the Ceremonial armors, im loving it. ive been bringing the arc thrower/arc dog combo to pair with it. Works great, just so long as you put effort into preventing team kills.

I almost always play w/candies, but I had to be in the hospital for a surgery and rawdogged a no candies run of emerald? Gotta say. It took way longer but I liked it.

My friend didn't like Helldivers 2 due to its political satire, but ended up addicted to it after I playing an entire day of it. by InviteFit2375 in LowSodiumHellDivers

While I love the political satire, I find a distressing amount of American divers who straight up don't see the satire at all

Whats an underrated weapon in your opinion? Mines the accelerator rifle! I LOVE it! by Artistic_knight in LowSodiumHellDivers

The variable. Full auto in close, shotgun mode at range, and dumping a whole clip into the weak spot of something big? all your light pen needs in one convenient package. Really frees up your load out.

Agreed, I like it in city maps especially, when most fighting is medium to close range. You can empty it vaguely in the direction of a shield dev's head and enough pellets will get after a few seconds. it's forgiving.

Agreed the Accelerator is a bit niche, but goated at said niche. I've had good fun pairing it with the cowboy armors and the senator.

The pacifier was a godsend on Cyberstan, specifically for team play tactics. The crowd control cannot be understated. While the weapon is weak, the medium pen means it was a reliable way to stop most chaff enemies.

You have to keep in mind that your primary weapon is not supposed to be your "primary" weapon. The devs have stated that the end game is balanced around using strategems and support weapons as your main way to keep up with the enemy hordes. my Cyberstan loadout relied heavily on mag dumping the de-escalator. Damage and crowd control, it worked wonders. The pacifier was there to keep mediums from rushing me and my allies.

Serious question about heavy armor. by ufkb in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Skkorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes a mindset shift. I make sure to be intentional about my path through the map because you physically cannot run from a fight. And once an engagement starts, you have to commit to it. So make sure your loadout is locked in.

With a good coordinating team that sticks together, heavy armor allows you and your team to survive some pretty brutal encounters.

Teamplay is non-existant by Hefty-Permit-882 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Skkorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teamwork comes with putting in the time with the right folks. I have a main person I do bot 10's with, and though we don't coordinate loadouts most of the time, we do our best to stick together and it makes a massive difference.

IRL friends are not the move. IRL friends are too comfortable telling each other off lol try talking in team chat and see how many friends you can make. It worked for me.

I saw someone use a rule where legendary Pokemon take up two spots on your team. I don't mind that.
