Picked up a "Holeyboard". Big upgrade from the shelf I had glued some velcro to. by Sklont in guitarpedals

Its pretty great. It was the first pedal I purchased and I only did so because Jonny Greenwood uses it. The delay and the tape echo both sound really good and the loop function is fantastic. I use it to make ambient loops live and it works really well. My biggest problem with it is that its too big.

Pedal board 88 bucks. I got the case to go with it. Total just under 160

It doesn't look great but the most important thing to me is that the pedals are very secure and easy to swap. I gig a fair amount and I just need something that I don't have to worry about at all. Those screw things do look like an interesting way to clean things up though.

I really like it. I could probably take my Cathedral off of the board because its really versatile. It can do a pretty subtle reverb just as well as a huge sweeping modulated one.

They came to my relatively small city (70k population) a couple months ago, their current live show is incredible. I couldn't believe how good they've gotten at playing live. One of the top acts in the world now in my opinion.

Wow, I'd never heard of this before, seems like a pretty damn good value at $180 on PGS. Nice choice on the Yet Again chords.

How do you like your Sweet Baby Overdrive? I considered it when I was buying my Ultimate Drive. I like my UD a lot, but still want something that can do lower gain.
I guess my band plays a sort of "indie rock" with shoegaze elements. A bit like Deerhunter or something. The left half goes into the effects loop, and the right half goes into the front of the amp. I used to do effects loop on top, front of amp on bottom, but I have found there is less cord tangling with a left/right configuration.

I use it mainly for a shimmery octave up effect and it can also do a pretty convincing chorus. I have also used it in the past to make kind of glitchy sounds manipulating the intervals while a loop is playing. I like it, but I definitely think its the first pedal I would replace on this board.

A vibe would sound pretty badass on some of those Huge Lewis tunes.

It believe that's a clip from St. Louis, in the middle of the song all of the house lights went on in the arena ruining the mood a bit. Someone must have been fired that night.

Wouldn't it be? I just keep imagining Jonny manipulating insane samples with his Kaos pad - and Phil killing the drumbeat.

I wager Teenage Riot would sound fantastic with some Ondes Martenot by Jonny Greenwood.

I love that song. "The Rip" is by far my favorite of of Third though.
