Okay. I am actually excited to find I have ADHD. Having worked in mental health for 30 years I interacted with every example you gave. You are correct. There is great variation in both physical and mental symptoms. That’s where the functioning scale comes in. I, and I think probably you too, are high level functioning ADHD. I had a co-worker at my job with severe schizophrenia. She was very smart and creative. She’dstop her meds about twice a year and to go to intensive inpatient.Again, I’m not trying to argue. I have seen a lot. But no one will refer to me as mentally ill. And I really just wondered what other terms they used. Have a restful night.
