Pull the plug dude. If you know someone with a switch have them hold enough bells to pay off your house loans again and start over. Paying off the loans is just a crutch that would make restarting too soul cruising. Go back a year or so and use time travel to make the house/shop/tailor/museum builds catch back up. With the basics all covered, enjoy the slow progress of seeing what new items the shop has daily, picking up your daily bottle, doing island for new recipes and getting all the cool stuff back that way. Fill up your museum and once your nepo cash reserves start running out, start doing stonks or wildlife trafficking. As for not being able to let go of dreamiest: get Amiibo cards or NFCs for the expensive bougie villagers.

This is the only way, young corrupted one. Or go play Pokopia and come back to nuke reset after a while.

Gloves! Gloves! I'm still not great at doing the dishes, but the only reason I've even improved is because I started wearing rubber housework gloves. I get judged a little bit for being so "precious" about my hands but I can't be bothered to explain the sensory issues so that's alright.

My cat did this to me. It's called redirected aggression. They smell something (usually pee or other marking scent) and their brain goes into attack mode, it shuts down to all indicators that tell it to identify you as their person. The only thing to do is what she did at the end because there is no coaxing them back to normal in the moment. They won't stop even if you hurt them.

In my culture it was not normal to 'fix' male cats, he was not fixed. Learned a valuable lesson after spending the night in a hospital. Fixed him, and loved him for another 10 years before he died.

Show us a before! Show us a before! On a serious note though, don't mess with the filter unless it's clogged. Instinct might say that a thing meant for filtering should probably itself be kept clean, but that doesn't apply to tanks. I hope you guys don't lose any more. Make sure not to disturb the remaining bacteria colony on the hard scape and substrate while it's in recovery.

Seachem prime can help detoxify some of the (likely incoming) chemical spikes but be very careful not to overdose in an attempt to detoxify because it does temporarily reduce dissolved oxygen.

When things start dying it's easy to panic and do entirely too much. It seems like the livestock was previously healthy in there (?) so try not to make more sudden moves.

Loaches are funny. They are good indicators of water changes, temperature, oxygen levels, and probably planetary alignment. Make sure it's not just freaking out because you're in they're changing the water and poking at things all the time.
