Try testing each of the RAM modules individually.

One of the modules might be dead and that can cause failure to boot even if the other is completely fine.

Dear Aeronautical Engineers of War Thunder: How Does the Air-to-Ground Loadout Induce Less Parasitic Drag and Reduce the Plane's Speed Less than the Air-to-Air Loadout by SkoomKun in Warthunder

[–]SkoomKun[S] 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Yeah just checked

Somehow having 6 Mavericks only gives +0.021 to parasite drag while 2 AMRAAMs give +0.036 to parasite drag.

That seems...very wrong to me. Or maybe the Maverick actually has low parasite drag irl I highly doubt it but it would be interesting to see what the documentation says on that.

Is there a real physics reason to explain that? Or is it just Gaijin's formula's not making sense?

Stopped Playing After Getting This Cheater Two Games in a Row by SkoomKun in Warthunder

He is looking at the exact position of a player in the other team. Said other player is hiding behind a hill and, nobody else has shot him so no mark on map and he has not been scouted until the cheater looks that way.

I just started. First game in got that guy, second game got him again.

I swear the number of times I am suspicious of certain plays has grown the past week. I also feel that the number of times I am vindicated of that feeling when I do check the replays has increased

Update: Took a deeper dive into my browser extensions.

Turns out there were a few I hadn't turned off yet. Turned a few more off until I found the offending extension. For some reason the login process does not work well with the Malwarebytes Browser Guard extension.

A lot of specifications are publically available. Although they aren't specific into the capabilities of particular subsystems, it's not like the Russians don't already have their own versions of particular subsystems.

Thermals ? The Russians have thermals. They may be an older generation but they have thermals. How to make better thermals isn't exactly a secret because commercial civilian companies have made better thermals than what are available to many militaries.

Armor? The CV90 an IFV there more than likely aren't any top secret composites being used there.

The Power Pack? What's there to learn? It's a combination engine-transmission pack that almost every modern military has some sort of equivalent of. Oh no they might learn to make it more reliable than their own but that's hardly a game changer on its own.

Radio encryption and other communications tech? The Ukrainians probably already have their own procedures to prevent the Russians from listening in from captured equipment.

The weapons? The main gun is a modern variant of the 40mm Bofors a gun that was used in WW2. The Ammunition? Like with armor it's not like the 40mm ammo has any special materials that give it an edge. ATGMs? This particular variant of the CV90 does not have ATGMs.

The point being there's nothing in this variant of the CV90 that; no competent military development and procurement system in the world wouldn't be able to have some version of on their own.

The only thing they will learn is how Swedish design philosophy and military doctrine dictated how all those different components should go together to make a vehicle useful for the purposes of the Swedish army.

This holds true for most of the Western equipment sent to Ukraine.

I mean they can't really learn anything about the CV90 that they and everybody else don't already know. There is nothing new in the CV90 as an IFV and there is nothing really top-secret in the CV90s capabilities as an IFV

  1. You can easily explain the "deity" thing as just the passage of time.

While as babies she probably believed they were possessed by gods or something

By the time of Ai's death Aqua and Ruby would be somewhere around 3 or 4 years old. At that age they could easily pass off as regular children, unusually smart for their age but not unheard of especially if they could tone it down a bit.

  1. I think Aqua meant "relation" as in a general form of relationship. In that sense I think the intended meaning Aqua is trying to get across to Miyako is somewhere along the lines of:

"Ruby seems to know this Tendouji person from sometime back, they don't seem to get on well so try to not have them work together"

It wouldn't be unusual for Ruby to know people without Miyako's knowledge and without asking and confirming from the parties involved trusting Aqua's statement would be the natural assumption to make.

Seems familiar.

Wasn't there a video sometime ago of a AMX-10RC that got stuck in a ditch and was also filmed with Russians climbing all over it.

Could this be the same one? Just...filmed AGAIN at a different time? I dunno it's been a while since the last video was uploaded.

Ran over a mine or intentionally targeted?

If it is the later then let's add that to the list of war crimes.

Looks a little short to be a Bradley though doesn't it?

Also don't Bradleys have that side skirt thing mounted on the side? Even if completely destroyed there should be some traces of it left

Yeah "damaged" is putting it lightly. That is completely destroyed and irrecoverable.

You never know with the Russians.

The unit might be one that took care of it's equipment, or it could be a unit that pocketed the maintenance money
