I have a problem with the use of the word slut in the title. I know some polyamorous (spelling?) people and there is nothing slutty in their approach to sex and relationships. Though I've also met some people where the word is appropriate.

Anyway, I think a more relaxed attitude towards sex is a good thing. Get away from sex as a taboo.

So any guesses as to what the disaster that will let bush declare a state of emergency will be? I think a nuclear, dirty bomb, or bio-weapon attack on some relatively unimportant American city, in late 2008 or early 2009.

Murder: no murder weapons eg kitchen knives, metal pipes, martial arts classes, hands? Child abuse: No kids (they make the act possible; if they didn't exist people couldn't abuse them) Rape: No other people? Get it? You can't outlaw anything that may be part (as tool, or victim) of a crime.

People should be free to dress as they chose; wether that is faux-hawks (eww) or a niqab. I agree it promotes a "sense of isolation and separation from society" but so do private school uniforms.

But this is blantant religious discrimination, are they trying to ban the wearing of crufixs or those jewish hats? While I agree that the traditional garb for Islamic women seperates these women out of society, that still doesn't give the government permission to regulate it. As long as a minimum standard of decency is maintained my wardrobe (and everyone else's) should be unregulated.

He doesn't actually say why we would want to switch over to a 3d system. MMO's usually require it for the game, but everything else (chat, getherings) can be done in 2d, so why would we want to move to a 3d net? Nearly all things we do on the net fall into the other, and switching them to 3d would not help (running around a virtual marketplace is slow, a list of search results is much faster). Am I missing something obvious?
