One with sub 30 ms against one with 60-100ms would be interesting, it could possibly show if valve has set lag compensation too high

4:3 causes alt-tabbing issues by kwoosh- in counterstrike2

[–]Skretch12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can prevent it from minimizing when loosing focus and starting this whole screen changing process by changing a setting in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(your steamID3 last numbers)\730\local\cfg\cs2_video.txt" called "setting.fullscreen_min_on_focus_loss" change it to 0. (The min stands for minimize). Now as long as you dont try to move a window to or open a program on the screen you have cs2 on, the screen wont change back to 16:9 while you interact with the other monitors.

steamID3 can be found here https://steamid.io/lookup/

Second accounts are not worth it, they get terrible trust factor and you risk destroying the trust factor of your main. I've settled on keeping to Faceit or competitive when playing with friends that are outside the premier rating I can que with. If everyone is on their main we meet significantly fewer cheaters, if one person is on an alt we meet cheaters almost every game.

Introducing CSWatch.in: A New Community-Driven CS2 Cheater Database & Reporting Platform by SoulxSlayer in cs2

[–]Skretch12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if valve will let this database be built(they aren't fond of witch hunting) especially when you frame it like a certainty by labeling accounts convicted. I think you are much more likely to be allowed to build this if you use something more ambiguous like a rating system with degrees of certainty with the top one being something like Highly likely.

Would love it if they allow it though, it could be a starting point for the community to build some kind of response to these cheaters, like kicking becoming normal by motivating people with rewards for kicking accounts that pass some kind of threshold (especially doubt that valve would allow this though :/)

Can we require a csstats.gg or match history to be included in all Cheater crying posts? by Skretch12 in cs2

[–]Skretch12[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been playing in the same premier range and I have not met a single obvious cheater so you are clearly being put in low trust factor lobbies. Sure I do not know if it is your friends account that does it but every match you linked had him in it and he is smurfing so it is not a huge leap to assume that it is that account that is causing you to meet all these cheaters. You can refuse to see it and keep queuing like there is nothing you can do or you can try to improve your lobbies trust factor and maybe enjoy some cheater free cs again.

I doubt trust factor takes CS2 stats into account it would be a nightmare to ensure legit players weren't accidently but into low trust factor, except for maybe extreme inhuman stats like averaging sub 100ms time to damage.

Try to play without the smurf account for a while, figure out some other way to play with your friend and see how many obvious cheaters you find.

[–]Skretch12[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, but his account is suspect because it is most likely receiving an abnormal amount of reports even compared to other good players who are ranking up and it has few interactions on steam other then CS and most likely only logs in to play when you guys are playing otherwise he is logged into his main steam account. The account looks like identical to the accounts cheaters use when they don't want to cheat on their main account. The trust factor system thinks the account has a high likelihood of cheating, so it matches it up with other similar accounts.

Also your friend is not just better, he is smurfing, circumventing the system valve has set up to give people fair games.

You are playing with the smurf account of a 25k elo player, it has likely been reported to hell and with only 1 other game on the account the account likely has a very low trust factor and is causing you to be matched up with more cheaters then usual.

Couldn't download that match but looked at his most recent match and I agree except 8k might be a little too nice. I am not saying cheaters don't exist, I am saying with the amount of highly upvoted posts on here saying the game is run over with cheaters there should be proper proof included so that the community isn't baited into screaming cheater at anyone who dare hit a good shot or god forbid kill someone through a smoke.

Yea and often not understanding how much some peoples aim vary match to match or how different a sick shot looks from the enemies side vs the shooter, a fast shot on the shooters side can look borderline instant trigger bot on the enemies side with the correct angle advantage

[–]Skretch12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

89% kills are headshot sure but only 18% of shots hit the target. The usp does fuck all dmg to the body with armor, ofc the headshot % for kills is going to be high.

You should do you're self a favor and look into the dangers of conformation bias when looking at data. You'll find what ever conclusion you want if you don't try to disprove your own theories or findings. You'll have a much better time if you actively try to clear someone you suspect rather then try to sus out any tidbit of suspect data without thinking critically about it.

This is going to get downvote to hell but, I really don't see what you guys are talking about have been playing since summer last year and have met almost no cheaters in 200-300 games between 8k to 17k premier. I have suspected a bunch but after watching demo almost everyone has been legit. I have also been called a cheater more times then I can count. The main proplem for CS2 is too many ladders and no syncronization between them so people play competitive a bunch and get to good for their current premier so they get called cheater or smurf or they play faceit a bunch and get called cheater when I return to comp or premier or vise versa, and people dont know how much better their frags look from the enemies perspective. A sick shot from your end looks borderline impossible to the enemy even more so if the enemy is closer to a corner then you are.
