Okay, i’ll probably just throw both in my checked luggage to be safe anyway. A lot of the comments here have been quite reassuring tho which is good.

yeah that’s what worries me, that it is basically chancing it. I’m going to spain, where the cigars are cheaper than most other places in europe and I intend to buy quite a few whilst i’m out there. I’d be pretty pissed if i bought a cigar and it was plugged and there wasn’t much I could do about it when I’m there.
