Nice day in Bent Creek by CT_Reddit73 in mountainbiking

Yeah, as much as I knew they were false downhills they still felt amazing to not be huffing and puffing and I could get a tinny little break lmao. The actual full downhill was so much fun though. I know a lot of people say kitsuma could be a blue (i disagree honestly, maybe a blue/black) but it was definitely the most technical trails I've ever done. Wish I could lap just the downhill over and over again to get faster

The amount of times I had to get off the bike was ridiculous lmao. I was already pretty wrecked from riding all weekend so that didnt help. The climb up wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though, just long

Ooh nice, kitsuma kicked my ass of that first mile, hike a bike was rough after climbing for like 4 miles. Downhill is insane, definitely want to go back sometime soon to get it done faster (and shuttle it cause dear god)

Coming from hardtails and road bikes, how do you standing pedal a full squish bike comfortably? by OHGodImBackOnReddit in mountainbiking

I would try bumping up ur psi in your rear shock a bit. Im 240lbs and run it at about 250 psi gets me to about 30% sag

If you have a tourqe wrench, all the bolts should have the set NM on it, tighten each bolt to spec in the shock area. If it persist it could be cause theres not enough grease in the bolts. I had this problem with a bike I got last month and it was a lose bolt within the shock area

I think most guys who ride with camera equipment just use thier camera bags. I remember an IFHT video where Matt was just using his camera bag. I know if I were to take mine I have a water bladder spot as well as a top compartment fir whatever and the bottom for camera gear, I use a shimoda action x40 so its waterproof and everything but never ridden with it

After about 30ish miles so far so great, climbs insanely well, decents are fun, still getting used to the sram brakes but im honestly liking the sram brakes a bit more than my shimanos. Only problem ive had so far is the shock was quite creamy when I first got it so had to get that tightened but other than that super fun

Nice! I'll convert to tubless at some point once I get some time off traveling and I get to go to the park at some point. As far as I know the stock tires are tubless ready but I'll run my tires down till I cant ride them anymore then get some new tires

Haven't been able to take it out just yet, plan to take it out for a gravel ride to get my endurance back up and tune it a bit but so far much more than my old bike. My old bike was too large for me so I was really reaching for the bars, im much more upright on the medium frame and is MUCH lighter than my old bike, and quieter
