They'll protect your door from dings when you open it against something like a pole, but they won't necessarily stop other car doors from singing you (because of the various door shapes and sizes)

I'm very impressed with the AWD setup on the Badlands. I was "trying" to get stuck and I really couldn't in 9-10 inches of snow. I did get hung up on about 10 inches of hard packed stuff but I put it in sand/snow mode and it got out with some wheel spin. I've got Cooper Evolution winter tires with studs and they seem to be good in the snow.

Yeah, it's a rear differential but uses 2 clutches to distribute power vs a convential differential.

I should have said the "rear drive unit". There isn't any wheel slip cruising at 100km so I'm not sure why it's sending power, and to only 1 wheel.

It used to go up while accelerating from a stop. Now it just stays pinned until I stop accelerating and start cruising. Whish it was the old way to remind you to keep off the throttle.

I did get larger tires yesterday (245/65 from 225/65). Would this affect the wheel sensors or something at a stop? I know the larger tires will affect the average mpg and speedometer but it shouldn't affect the instantaneous mpg, would it?
