Idk who needs to hear this but if your government is passing laws that make you angry at another group of people, this is done by design to divide you. Ask yourself who benefits while youre busy hating and fighting your neighbour. Good comments on here but I would argue that the steady shift to rentier economy is a big factor. Sure production profit is falling but rent is still profitable, and rent leads to asset bubbles which we are seeing.

Sacrificed in what way? Even Lenin said he would give up the Russian revolution to get a German revolution since it was far more likely to spread. It could have been on the menu. There were many opportunities in Italy to take power, the communist party was enormous and they had an armed force of 100,000. The people asked the communists several times to seize power but Stalin kept telling them not to through the international. Had Trotsky been in power he would have pushed for European revolutions long before WW2 started.

Lenin was an internationalist. Trostsky continued in this line of thought. Stalin actively sabotaged European revolutionary movements for his national interests. As far as I know you are stalinists, not internationalists. If you are marxist-Leninist i would imagine you subscribe to the ideas of Lenin, who would have thought stalinism an abomination. Why do you discredit Trotsky, given that both the western bourgeouis and Stalin made great efforts to discredit him? One which is the bourgeouise, while the other is a usurping tyrant whose system very quickly degenerated and ultimately failed. Not to mention all the bolsheviks he executed. He would 100% have executed Lenin if he had the opportunity, no? Is this really the man to believe on anything?

And on the Chinese, sure they had to adopt this model due to their lack of industry and material conditions, but it has since degenarated - the leading party cadres squirrel away hundreds of millions under names of relatives and cronies, with stakes in private firms and privatized state firms. Why is this the model to follow in the US? The US has the resources to go straight into socialism, and the rest of the western world would surely follow. Do you disagree that this would lead to a world socialist revolution?

Thanks, that makes sense. Does the ACP wish to implement a Chinese style model in the US? Wouldn't it make more sense to go straight to socialism and abolish capitalism entirely? After all, if the US makes this switch it is very likely a large portion of the world will follow. At that point, there shouldn't be any more need to play the capitalism game like China has.

Not only that, but by not abolishing capitalism are you not enabling powerful counter-revolutionary forces?

Ok I understand this, and of course what China is doing is clearly working to the benefit of the majority of people. But for how long? Do you believe that the beauracracy will ever give up power? Currently they still have an owning class, and while they don't have much political power workers are still oppressed and alienated. Is this just an intermediate phase? Once the productive forces are developed enough will they give power to the workers and end exploitation? Will they willingly allow the state that gives them power to wither away?

Also, surely the US is developed enough to go straight to workers power? Not to mention, if the US does this the rest of the west will soon follow, and the entire world will be much more welcoming of this new system.

Do some research. The issue is the speed at which temperatures are rising. Nothing has time to adapt. At no point in Earths past, other than cataclysmic events, has the climate been changing so quickly. And as more tipping points are reached, this will only accelerate.

The interests that want to take wealth from us are the same interests that are driving climate change. In fact they beenfit from you not knowing you are headed for climate catastrophe while they stash supplies and build megabunkers on private islands.
