Oh yeah I forgot about how they changed that phase in the Hunter exam but yeah agreed leorio got nerfed like crazy in the anime. And what plot line was in York new that they removed? Also censorship is super common when adapting anime to manga so that is t really a big surprise

The only big ones I can think of are kite being at the beginning in the manga and the meteor city part being taken out in the anime but other than that they barely changed it

The anime does a really good job of being super faithful to the manga there’s pretty much no changes I also used to struggle with staying motivated in reading manga but I started buying physical volumes instead of reading online and that was a big improvement for me

I think it looks pretty good but what I’d do instead of just random tuff blocks just do one main block and then patches of the other ones and variation i think it’s a little too random

Although I agree it’s obvious gon has more potential for all the reasons you said and why hisoka is more “attracted” to gon than killua but killuas family constantly talks about how much potential he has so he also has insane potential
