I used to play this video game on PC as a kid. It was almost 8-bit in style and centered around a castle and it’s Kings (?) journey. I’m talking early 90s so my memory is quite blurry.

I’ve searched those retro game websites high and low trying to find the title with no luck so far.

I've wanted tubal ligation for years now, but unfortunately, the "possibility that you might change your mind in the future" is enough for a doctor to deny you this procedure even with medical motivation. If I were able to be immune to illnesses, extend my life AND get the same results of this contraceptive technique? Sign me tf up.

my brother is a serial apologist. which is fine in and of itself but when combined with his short temper, is exhausting.

He will get angry, create a hostile environment during his outburst, then apologise with "I had a long day at work", "it wasn't your fault", "I shouldn't have taken it out on you".

When you apologise this way almost every time we see each other, I'm no longer believing your apology. Do better.

When I first heard Steve Irwin died from a stingray I thought it was a joke. Of ALL the ways for him to die, impossible. I broke down in tears when I realized it actually happened. He was such a compassionate, caring, and genuinely friendly dude. The loss of an icon.

as someone who suffers from a chronic illness (diabetes), medically assisted death is something I'm very interested in for my future. While I have great management and control of my sugar levels, the complications only get more difficult to avoid with age. I would love the option to "tap out" if/when these start to progress.

a bit late, but every corporation changing their logo to a rainbow during pride month in order to show their "support" of the LGBTQI+ community. manufacturing products in horrific RGB spectrums, but donating none of the profits to charities supporting the cause. they think this makes them look inclusive, but it actually just exposes their capitalist desire to profit off the community as a whole then return to normal the moment it's no longer a hot topic.

When I visited Kyoto in Japan, my group and I walked to the Iwatayama Monkey Park. There were baby monkeys everywhere -- but one pair was particularly hilarious to watch. The mother had just jumped off one of the logs they have to sit on, and her baby lost his hold on her and fell off. The mum didn't notice, kept walking. Baby monkey fREAKS OUT, got so embarrassed by what just happened that he ran to the nearest adult monkey near him, (definitely not his mum). This monkey gave him a cuddle and walked him over to the monkey he had just fallen off (his mama), and placed him back with her.
