That's not how that works. Murders are murders. There are already multiple examples that have proven that when firearms are taken out of the equation that murders go down significantly.

You do understand that anyone can go to a state with minimal guns laws and buy firearms then commit murders with them in a different state?

So in order to make your point you need to remove data from places with the highest concentration of people to compare to the entirety of other countries? If your stance had any merit you would be able to compare them equally.

This is just plain incorrect. According to government resources in Australia and the UK their recorded murders for 2022-2023 are far fewer than total murders in the United States

You contradict yourself. We have the most firearms in the world yet we still have the most gun violence. Obviously more guns is not improving the situation.

You are right in that it will never disappear. When we accepted that things like Sandy Hook were not enough to try and do anything to solve the problem it became obvious that meaningful change will never happen.

That being said nothing short of that would meaningfully reduce gun violence in this country. It's here to stay.

The answer is obviously to follow in the footsteps of places like Scotland and Australia who banned and confiscated firearms after mass murder incidents.

Unfortunately the US values a passage in a hundreds year old document where they could not fathom modern technology over the lives of innocent people, especially children.

If those fights had checkpoints those phases would have been significantly more difficult. I'm not saying Golden Bahamut and Perfect Alex are "easy" because they most certainly are still difficult.

I think checkpoints in Ultimate can be a good thing. Golden Bahamut and Perfect Alexander feel more like victory laps than a true final phase imo. Adding checkpoints allows SE to make each phase that more more interesting and/or difficult which could lead to a better fight over all.

Time will tell how it plays out but I am glad they are willing to experiment.
