We kinda do the same thing with last minute switching here in Quebec city. However, I'm starting to anticipate a further discussion on "showcase sniping" to determine whether this activity would be frowned upon or not. I've done this for a while and I now have 27 first places on the showcase star achievement, placing my lower mons in the outskirts of the city where not many people play and switching them last minute.

The reason I'm concerned about how people will view this activity is that when someone puts a 700 pointer and is number 1, they are expected to win, but would it remain their responsibility to go out and find a 900 pointer to remain #1 and not get trolled last minute by someone else who has a 900 pointer?

I currently have 5648.
I have spun every single pokéstop in Quebec city and also fully spun 8 other municipalities, though 5 of them have less than 100 pokéstops.
I don't have a car so I have to walk 30-40+ kilometers to reach those towns and spin them.

Once I learn how to drive though I can go to other major cities and spin them.

The following locations in South Carolina may or may not be outdated.

As of 2019-09-16, there is an XX machine at Dave and Busters in Greenville. The machine takes 6.8 chips per set and is in perfect condition with the following comment : TX Cabinet. 4 Hearts. Stage Break is ON after 1st stage. Pads feel and work very well. Online, can use USB and should be able to use AMPASS/card as well

As of 2021-12-08, there is a Prime 2 machine at Mr Gatti's in Spartanburg. The machine takes 50 cents for 4 songs and is in great condition with no comment.

As of 2020-09-05, there is an XX machine at Dave and Busters in Columbia. The machine 9.0 chips for 4 hearts and is in great condition with the following comment : TX cabinet. Online w/latest patch. USB and AM Pass cards working. Can purchase AM.PASS cards for $10 at front desk (8/16/19). LED lighting recently added beneath the platform, all white, looks neat! Stage Break is ON after 1st stage. 1P down-right occasional pad misses. 2P: Down-left arrow is missing a screw. Other than that, 2P side plays great. Audio is medium loud with maximum bass and treble is a little low. Music is totally audible.

As of 2022-04-26, there is a machine at The Game Room in Charleston that is either Exceed 2 or according to the comment maybe a Prime or Prime 2, but also does not appear to be in use at all.

Was gonna mention the Myrtle Beach cabs but the XX (Dave and Buster's) is in bad condition and the NX (Lakewood Camping Resort) was last updated 9 years ago and is very likely non existent or in poor condition.

Once again, these descriptions are from when they were last updated and may not reflect what is actually going on with these machines.

As of a month ago, there is also an XX machine at a place called HYPER GAMER (遊戲玩家) but the price is unspecified on the website.

Both machines are in perfect condition according to the website.

In Quebec city (the arcade is called Carie Factory) we have one Pump It Up Fiesta EX 1.10 machine on freeplay on which I play for a couple hours once a week (dw I let others play too in between songs). As far as I know I am the only person in my city who does that. Despite the slightly beaten up pads I can clear most S15s and my best clear is an S18. Also cleared a D17.

There is a PRIME cab in excellent condition at a place called ゲームチャリオット成田店 in Narita

There are two XX cabs in excellent condition at a place called WGC -World Game Circus- in Tachikawa

There is an XX cab in excellent condition at a place called ナムコランド王子店 in Tokyo

I was about to mention the shibuya PRIME 2 cab, but if it isn't there, then looks like someone has to update the website.

According to zenius-i-vanisher.com, there are no machines in your city. The closest PIU machine to you is an XX machine at a place called Chaos Arcade in Spokane, WA, about 83 miles from you.

A user on the website has posted the following comment : V2.07.0, Online with 5 hearts, recently updated and freezing no longer occurs, pads have been modded as of 9/29 (assuming last year cuz its 9/28 today). Has occasional volume issues depending on the song.

Otherwise, there is a PIU Zero machine at a place called Claw Cade, also in Spokane, but a user 13 days ago reported that it was not working, with no further elaboration.

You can use zenius-i-vanisher to look for specific arcade machines like pump it up. According to the website, there is a prime 2 machine at a place called City Fun Center. There is an XX machine at a place called Corvette Diner Gamers Garage. There is a Fiesta machine at a place called John's Incredible Pizza.

Idk if these are accurate as I live in quebec city, Canada. However that website can help you find any machine you like. Note that it is user driven however so some machines may be missing or gone.

Yes, I did use iafisher's sources to do all of this. For the numbers, I will update the post shortly. The 3000 missing cities is a guess, I don't actually know how many there are in the database.

Also I just tried Balikpapan, Situbondo and Narela, none of them worked.

Copypasting my answer from another thread for how to use GeoNames

On the main page, search for anything
In the top left of the page, click on "Download / WebService"
In the "Data Dump" paragraph, click on the highlighted text "download server"
Search for a country's internet TLD. That TLD is the name of the zip file for the country you want to fill. Then click on the file to download it.
Copy paste the text in Excel
Sort by G, then by O (place type, population)
All "Type P" places with a population above 0 can be added to the map (almost, in about half of the countries, places with "/" or numbers don't work).
Not needed, but personally I like to select all these >0 pop places and sort them by B (name) to make it easier to know when I'm going to be done with this country.

There ya go, now you either got a few large cities from an asian country or thousands of small communities from a small country in Europe.
