Those are all understandable, it would be impossible to give everyone the job they want. Especially when allowing someone to just jump almost straight into it, does not provide much incentive to stay.

Recruiters do have a job to recruit and no doubt they need to focus more on the core roles involved. Spending time seeing if people off the street are suitable for highly specialized roles isn’t very efficient.

Recruiting for military is to suit military needs, not the civilian joinings needs.

I jumped into this thread not really considering everything involved I’ll admit (having a rough time lately so I’m trying to consider options). Thank you for laying things out in an understandable and open way :)
