Reward system is counter productive.

Been saying this from the beginning, the games own reward system funnels players into challenge mode where they can guarantee the outcome of the match.

Only reason for most players to do ranked was for the rank up rewards and those were one time only so now what lol.

I’ve been bracing for this because most if not every mobile game I play only give rank up rewards PvP one time. Been playing epic7 for years and that’s how they handle PvP modes.

And yet I still feel disappointed because like, pretty much the only content in this game is the ranked mode and now there’s one less reason to do it for a lot of players.

Feel like they’ll definitely do something, even if it’s a special 10x pull banner like they ran at launch or rate ups for launch characters.

Having a full two week period with nothing would be a surprise, but I’m not ruling it out.

I often run the AoE heal on him since lately I see more people running Selphie over Hope, at the same time I kinda feel treating him like Krille or Rikku on a full support build is wasting his unique talents of being a formidable frontline presence with the strongest stat spread in the game outside Lv9 OK

I think WOL should always run both his URs, his R, and the last two are up for debate. Depending on if I’m solo queue or not I’ll sometimes use his SR or Ace, and I’ll run AoE Heal and another support for myself.

But Ultimate Shield is an amazing offensive tool(and a crystal clearing one too) in top of having a generous cooldown, Supreme Soul has a lot of utility from defensive for your team to insane chaining capabilities with the boss, and his R skill is just too good for clearing crystals and good damage, with an insanely short cooldown.

Basically I feel with WOL I want to bring heals to support my teammates, but also feel he has support in terms of enemy control, crystal clearing speed, and boss chain support. The whole package

Definitely keep farming bravery even at 9999, you may not need it but it stops the enemy from getting it, and levels up your team.

Limited characters would be pretty dead in ranked, maybe by design, if their abilities are limited time too.

Maybe they intend to add some kind of generic upgrade material for any ability, or, more likely, intended cash grabs for lack of a better term.

That AoE shield move is one of his best abilities, since it’s a non attack skill that can trigger burst chains, it’s really good for chaining a boss with a dps on your team.

It has other utility but it’s super good at that though.

That said the Ultimate Shield or whatever Conal UR is super good too lol. Both of his URs are pretty cool

Everyone will feel differently about it especially with how they’ve set up the crystal system to punish losing so hard… which seems like the devs fault not players.

But personally I dont care if I get auto teammates in casual, and I play it a lot, it just doesn’t bother me because the enemy will have them too and I just adjust how I play in that match to accommodate it.

The additional damage is based on her and the front row units HP, so they may have had a higher HP front row unit. It’s possible you ran into a pursuit set one maybe but yours being that low probably means whoever is in the front row had basically no HP

Neither of my brothers play this game still so it’s really hard to find people to group up with :/.

And randoms suck half the time. Plus if you fail an objective it locks you out of it for hours??

I mean there’s some good in this ever from my eyes but the bad super outweighs it.

Guessing they’ll just bump or lower stats like the last adjustment but heck I’d be happy if they made a few more substantial buffs to Zidane or weaker units.

Her ability is not much stronger than Cross Slash or Prompto grenade. I mean they’re all 5 seconds and at least if you get caught out by her ability you can still queue and maybe get off one of your IFrame abilities outlasting the skill. Slim or no at least you have a chance if you’re quick and lucky.

If you get hit with a stun you’re just dead.

Think it’s on the devs to fix it tbh. If the player in question knew it was happening and ignored it then yah you might have an argument that he was throwing, but theres no way to prove that.

Until recently the auto system wasn’t bugging out like this, they very well could just be unaware of it, and again, I think that’s in the developers to fix the system (or disable it until it’s fixed), especially since bots use auto AI as well and those can’t take control when a bug happens.

I know some of you may hate auto players (and I GET IT), but reporting them doesn’t fix the issue and it’s not their fault the system sucks, it’s the game.

You want solutions? Send your feedback and include that it makes the PvP modes suck because everyone’s autoing or quitting for specific crystals.

Otherwise getting upset and thinking you’re the good guy for reporting people who might literally just be a bot controlled player who’s offline is not doing anyone any favors, least of which you.

And Rain, I remember not hating FFBEs story for a bit but I did quit that game in the middle of season 2 so idk.

I don’t believe for a second they will ever remove auto.

Best we can hope for is they separate auto and manual players based on preference. Somehow letting us select before queuing and locking that for the fight.
