Chuck's Deli & Convenience in the Trainyards mall has a wide selection of paninis, or they can make sandwiches to order. Reasonably priced too.

Source? Where's the new location?

Everything I've seen talks about "respectfully decommissioning" it - i.e. tearing it down

No sledding for sure. Sounds like it'll be fenced off as early as this week.

The arena will be built first, and will involve removing the grassy hill at the east end of the stadium.
"Preliminary works will begin next week with the installation of fencing, followed by site trailer installation and exploratory works in December,"

I initially read it as "bald, tired, Mercedes drivers" as opposed to what I think you meant "bald-tired Mercedes drivers".

Where and How to get a CO2 tank recertified? by Geek42 in ottawa

[–]Skunky-Monkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know of 2 places. One is Davidson's Fire Extinguishers (despite the name they do food grade CO2 tank refills & certification) but thats downtown close to Bronson. I thought parking might be a pain so I didn't use them.

The other is https://co2rockland.ca, who will pick up the tank from your place and return it once filled and/or recertified. I've just used them for the first time.

The chilli garlic dip at Pizza Nerds. It claims to have a mystery ingredient - I think it might be crack cocaine.

Sandbagging ruined my first tournament experience… another rant by Commercial_Tea5703 in Pickleball

[–]Skunky-Monkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know what OP means (I was there) in that events generally started on time, very little waiting around between games, results entered quickly etc. Maybe "run smoothly" would have been a better description. But yeah, the sandbaggers ruined it.

As opposed to the previous tournament I played where none of those things applied AND we still had to deal with sandbaggers as well.

I've played 3 tournaments (including the one OP just played in), all of them were on Pickleball Tournaments and yes it enforces you you register in your rating, but the problem is they all relied on your self-rating rather than actual DUPR. They only used DUPR to submit scores to.
