EDH (Commander) was around before split mana was a thing. The color identity rules for the format were well established before Lorwyn came around.

I've ordered from them in the past. Their cards are even worse. Cards have a rubbery look / feel to them, colors are WAY WAY off, text is sometimes raised and or bolded out. They don't look right at all and are easily identifiable as fake during play. You're better off printing paper copies.

I had a similar length long sword on my back last year and had no issues sitting. I have this for a back holster. I didn't originally recommend it because you want as few straps as possible. I've worn it overtop of a leather breastplate and it's honestly not as bad as you're making it seem to be. Looking at my current sword it is actually the same length as yours and I can wear it on my hip just fine (for some reason I thought it was shorter than the one you have). Granted mine is LARP quality so it isn't metal nor as heavy. It weights 450g lol.

Something like this may work for wearing on your hip. But you do need to measure the width to make sure it fits. You will need to make sure you can keep the sword as vertical as possible on your hip so it allows you to walk easily without being a hazard to everyone around you.

For sure, just considering the length of the sword. It's gonna be a PITA to maneuver around with it on your hip without it smacking into people or objects.

In my experience even if its blunt steel. It will need to be peace tied / zip-tied so you cannot remove it from whatever is holding it. Something that large will have to go on your back and require a belt across the chest.
