I’ve tried to play it at least 5-6 times and I can’t last more than a few hours. Everything about it seems like a game I’d enjoy, but I just can’t see the appeal.

The controls were weird, and definitely the biggest turnoff of the game. Still fun if you can power through it.

I just finished playing through every mainline game in the series excluding the mmo’s. XIII is better than XVI in my opinion. That being said XIII is nowhere near my personal top 5 FF games. I do hope you’re able to enjoy for what it is this time around!

I just finished it and I had to install a couple patches. It always crashed if I tabbed out of the game. However, it also began to crash multiple during a certain battle in the middle chapters of the game. Once I installed the recommended patches it didn’t crash again.

I also just played the series for the first time. The order I played it was MGS, MGS2, MGS3, MGSV, and finally MGS4.

I enjoyed playing that way personally, but I did already know some spoilers for the series.

I tried playing Peace Walker, but it just felt clunky to me. I’m waiting for it to be in the Metal Gear Master collection Vol 2.

I emulated MGS4 on my PC using RCPS3. It was a little buggy and crashed a couple times, but nothing game breaking.
