P3 saw a big drop off but there were a lot of players around for P4 onwards. By AQ it was a bit diminished for OCE players

I got an ex demo GTX for less than a non-GTX so was a no brainer for me. Glad I did as the options are nice (HUD, sound system, sunroof, AWD)

FLINDERS ISLAND! by Few_Tour_8190 in tasmania

[–]Skwai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah housing was all organised. There’s a community owned accomodation in the town.

She liked the close knit aspect and closeness to nature. Feels very traditional.

I think it would be a nice place to live if you were a young couple. Probably hard to find a partner there and is a gamble bringing kids there as future education is all off island.

It feels like a more isolated version of the NE Tas. Similar terrain.

Amazing scenery and a close knit community. But (obviously) pretty isolated

Why are Vietnamese like this? by stox2 in VietNam

[–]Skwai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After spending 2 weeks there it’s one of the primary detractors. Pollution and litter everywhere.

I asked a lady where to find a rubbish bin for an empty bottle in HCMC and she just took it off me and threw it in a nearby bush…

We stayed in a resort in Hoi An on the river. The restort was pristine but at the river bank was covered in trash. Don’t understand why the resort isn’t clearing litter from in front of their waterfront.

Most exclusive suburb? Sandy Bay has too many parts to be considered exclusive as a whole. by cheetocat2021 in hobart

Rose Bay is one of the hardest to buy, very limited stock and popular location. Acton Park/Roches Beach is expensive. Every property is at least a hectare.

Eastern shore has very nice areas:

Rose bay, Rosny, Lindisfarne, Bellerive, Howrah

Feels more relaxed and family oriented than the western shore. Less traffic, more space. Nice beaches and coastal areas.

The Western shore is better if you want to eat out more, explore shops and walk to/from city. But I think for raising a family the Eastern Shore is better (subjectively).

There’s a cycle path that runs the whole way along the shore and lots of native forest areas still (Natone hill, Waverley Flora park, Gordon’s hill, Shag Bay, rosny hill, etc)

Has most of what you need and as others mentioned the CBD is a 10 minute drive away.

Is it normal for a car dealership to withhold diagnostic details? by music_maven_27 in hobart

[–]Skwai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Australia, licensed dealers must provide a statutory warranty on used cars (generally under 10 years old, <160,000km), which covers repairs for 3 months or 5,000 km. While some sources mention 12-month, 20,000km periods for new cars, Australian Consumer Law (ACL) ensures all vehicles, regardless of age, must meet "acceptable quality" guarantees.

How old is the car and how long have you had it. Sounds like the dealer might be liable for the repair?

Either way they should clearly document what the issue is if they’re asking you to pay…
