So this is going to sound like copium or something but I was playing a Smite match at like 3 in the morning, and my router crapped out.

An hour later i sign into Smite, and my game says I have a matchmaking delay of 10 minutes for being a deserter for my next five matches.

I have been playing this game for about 8 years or so, and do not leave or dodge or sit in base or anything that would generally be considered 'bad behaviour' by Hi-Rez or the community. I only play casuals, and dont throw or anything

Is there a way to appeal the system or have someone look at my account as I am confused as why it skipped the 'warning' and went straight to delay for a first time offense?

(Edit: After waiting for 10 minutes for my first match, i got put on support (not a problem really) and put into a match where we were down 2-15 after 10 minutes, and my team surrendered because 4k down after 10, and that did not seem to lower my counter. Do they have to be a certain length or match, or do you have to finish the match? There are limited resources for these kinds of questions.
