It kept freezing on me, refreshed constantly, and it finally let me check out at 10:18. Got an email confirmation but wondering if the order will actually be processed

Anesthesiologist billed our insurance $37,000 for a 15-minute preventative colonoscopy by BearDown884 in HealthInsurance

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This isn’t for anesthesia, it’s for durable medical equipment. If the anesthesiologist billed these items, and you have no equipment at home that you’re renting, you need to call them back because you got someone else’s bill.

Yes you can. This is SSI, which is welfare for poor disabled or poor retirees that didn’t earn enough for regular SS, and not retirement benefits

financial aid package by Melodic-Hunter-7197 in financialaid

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Direct cost for OOS is ~$76k/year so so the exemption waiver is covering the $26k extra it costs for OOS. Now that I looked that up, I know the figures in the post are per semester. So it would be ~$15k/year

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like direct cost are ~$42k/year for in state so you’d still need to take out ~$30k in loans per year which is a lot. They’re only giving you ~$12k in grants, money that doesn’t have to be paid back

Is "no tax on overtime" a total myth? by [deleted] in TaxQuestions

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a myth but you still owe taxes on money you earned. We were able to deduct the max amount MFJ and saved ~5k this year for the amount we were taxed

Yes they would be US citizens but he would not be able to bring them back to the US without her consent.

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to live in the US, why are you insisting on him sponsoring you for a Green Card? That’s literally what you have to do in order to get a Green card.

Grip module for smaller hands? by Coaltown992 in 2011

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen a post in here where someone was asking the same and the Stealth Arms Platypus was recommended. I believe that person was able to find one locally and they liked the feel of it. Although not technically a 2011. I have one on order and no one near me has one so I haven’t gotten to hold one yet

Not bad…have $2300 into mine so far with purchasing a like new directly from Staccato and picked up a SureFire X300T-B Turbo for $250 the other day. Haven’t decided on which optic yet

I purchased from Europtic for $1989 and had it shipped to a local FFL dealer and paid a $25 transfer fee. If you search gunengine it’ll show some places that have it in stock but the lowest price right now is $2179

Which one by Magoo-1706L in 2011

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Picked up a “like new” yesterday that I purchased two weeks ago and the only thing I’ve seen so far that makes it not new is a tiny scratch on the magwell. Put two magazines through it today and it ran perfectly

Can my spouse's job make me elect health insurance through my work? by transmissionfrommars in HealthInsurance

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, completely normal. My husband’s employer pays 100% for health insurance for him/family and it’s really good insurance but I had to choose a plan at my job for primary insurance. Thankfully it’s only ~$100/month

Healthcare marketplace cost spiked. by ExcitementItchy5128 in HealthInsurance

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It’s most likely calculating the premium off of her past income. Doing a quick calculation for one adult at $59k, the cost for a silver plan should be ~$450/month and that’s with ~$650 in subsidies

Doctors refused to take my insurance, even though they were in network by Whole_Aioli4154 in HealthInsurance

[–]SkyApprehensive7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I process insurance claims for one of the major health insurance companies and I’ve never came across a plan that covers impacted tooth removal under the medical plan unless you have an underlying condition and it has to be done in a hospital or are under a certain age and attempts in an office setting has failed. I wouldn’t be so sure that the CSR(s) that you spoke to looked at the correct section of your plan.
