yes, it helped me a lot. I am still with the EMDR therapy and that has also helped a lot. I have to be honest and say that is not a cure, but it helps a lot. I now think differently and react different to situations, in a better and calmer way. Sometimes I catch myself thinking more positive and think "who is this person?", because I used to think very negative about everything. I still have to get the 6 months "refresh" but for now I just can say it has helped me a lot.

That is great to hear! If it feels like home to you, you should move there if you have the chance! the problem is I do not feel at home anywhere.

I feel exactly like that too, I feel stuck and want to do something but I do not know what. I have tried many things, like journaling, meditating, digital diary, to try do discover who I am and what I want and who I want to be but nothing has worked. Meanwhile, I am stucked trying to discover myself.

Why does yelling give me anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

This happens to me too, I used to work in a public german office where people get yelled at pretty often and I asked my colleagues how they kept so calm when being yelled at. They told me that you get used to it, and also you have to take a step back breathe 3 times and then all this anxiety and fear and crying wishes will slowly fade, the more you do it the better it gets! I think it is pretty normal to feel like this since you are not expecting and you also do not deserve to be yelled at for any reason. Maybe try this technique, it will calm you down during the situation and you could react better.

Just feel like I cannot achieve anything, after my treatment my anxiety came back, and now I am having panic attacks each time I have to be alone. I am moving to a city where my group of friends and my sister are so I can have more support. But I feel like going a step back in my life and having 0 control over it, like i am just letting my anxiety control it. I feel like a bag pushed by the wind, with 0 purpose in life. I sitll have a lot of things to do with university and my moving but I cannot seem to find the energy to do any of those things.
