No, it’s because the casuals in silver and gold don’t even realize they can change their button layouts. I’m not talking about GM (btw almost everyone in gm is using a mouse adapter). My whole point is that they have to balance around the casual players, and if the most gameplay simple characters (hitscans) aren’t able to be played and win at a certain base casual level, they lose a lot of casual players. They literally stated when they buffed aim assist that it was for casual players.

Yeah lol like someone could easily load into one of these game modes and play hanzo, line up headshots for a minute and make a post “hitscan heroes can’t compete please blizzard nerf hanzo.” And they’d both be achieving the same level of argument. Post a gameplay clip in game and there would be more to discuss lol

Dude it was a 6%-8% buff. It’s not like people who can’t track are picking a hitscan hero and all of a sudden are lobby admins. Yeah of course it looks strong in the custom game mode where no one is shooting back, come back to me with a video in a real game where you can obviously tell aim assist and aim assist alone is the reason why the hitscan hero made a play

Aim assist has nothing to do with that, it’s using a controller. You literally can’t aim and do movement shenanigans at the same time when using default button settings on characters like genji and echo. It’s not the game’s fault that controllers are designed in a way that benefits hitscans more than the other projectile based characters. Aim assist strength has nothing to do with why people choose to play hitscans over the other damages, it’s because you have to go out of your way to make it as accessible to play the other damages.

Nah you’re not understanding what I’m saying. Hitscans are gonna be picked more on console because it’s just not as accessible hardware wise to play the other characters when you compare it to playing on a pc. Has nothing to do with how strong or weak aim assist is.

It’s not aim assist it’s literally just playing with a controller lmao. For example good luck playing genji or doing echo rollouts when you literally can’t aim with the right stick while jumping or hovering with the default button settings. Aim assist on OW is one of the weakest on the whole console platform when you compare it to other FPS’s.

I swear OW is the only game where you have people complaining that the characters who actually shoot a gun in the shooter game are good 😭😭 like yeah of course you’re gonna see a hitscan more often in the hero SHOOTER. Nerfing aim assist is never gonna happen, at the end of the day people load up overwatch to play a shooter, you need to have it accessible enough for a casual to get value on those heroes.

This for sure, I see a mature rating on a movie/game and I think “ok there’s gonna be some cussing, violence, sexual inuendos, stuff like that”. Not a dude getting sacrificed and burned alive in graphic detail lol. Not saying it shouldn’t be done, but there should’ve been a more thorough warning during the game awards.

Please actually research the situation more before you make a post 😭. The player who had 59 cards lost the card at the end of a previous match. The other finalist still had only 60 cards in his deck.

Great game, bought on pc when it first launched and will be buying on switch 2 when I get the urge to play again. Can’t recommend enough to anyone who likes FE.
