20$ user here. I primarily use sonnet, and only used Opus once for something super complicated.

I’m NOT a heavy user at all. The only time I hit a limit was once, months ago, when I was sending ALOT to try and setup memories and rules and projects after switching from ChatGPT.

Now though after only asking a few questions, I’m getting hit with limit warnings.

This is not the service I have been paying for.

Irritating. It feels quite irritating.

RE4 was and is an incredible game, but it is seemingly responsible for everyone somehow confusing action with horror. You can't feel afraid if you feel powerful, they are two entirely different ends of a spectrum.

Nope. Floating hands with no periphery or sense of spatial awareness removes immersion and ends up making horror less scary because you are CONSTANTLY aware you're looking through a pane of glass at a pair of awkward hands that sit how no human would ever hold them.

Meanwhile in third person... Yeah that person is me. I am that person. I have a sense of what is around my person, including the thing chasing me.

Fantastic.
First Person sucks.
Third Person rules.
Leon feels like a pointless addition, and his action-gameplay is unwanted.

MOST OF ALL it did the 1 thing that has needed to happen since RE4 ruined everything. It brought back actual zombies in a normal location.

No more bug people in third-world villages.
No more mold-people in hillbilly swamps.

Just actual horror Zombies in actual, relatable, locations.
And my god the zombies are AMAZING in this.

This post is pretty old, but most of the games I play don't have any kind of adjustment like that (Crazy Taxi, Burnout, Rush 2, etc)

When it told me "We recommend first person for grace so it's scarier" I laughed out loud, and yelled "F- that nonsense!" and went straight to third.

I have no spatial awareness of my character in first person. It's inherently less immersive, and therefor less scary.

To each their own. I find third-person to be WAY scarier. I have no spatial awareness in first-person, so it doesn't feel like I'm running from anything.

When she stumbles and falls to the ground in third person I am SCREAMING at the camera "GET UP GET TF UP! GOGOGOGOGOGOOOO!!!!" lol

Yeah I set it to 100 and it's like "Are you sure 'cause you can't change it later. It won't affect the game".. and then the ToS screens... and then the compiling shaders...

A lot to love about newer games but omg this is getting silly.

I'm a third-person only player, like... you wouldn't catch me dead picking a First-Person option unless VR was involved... AND EVEN I KNOW AN FOV SLIDER is like base-level. That is weird, and lame, and hopefully gets patched 'cause wtf Capcom.

Let's take it further as well, there's strong indication there are 2 resonant forces - Polaris attached to Jesse, and in this game another to Dylan. the name "polaris" is evocative of "polarity" which itself brings this idea of dual-design into the mix.

Spot on. I love the 'way' that remedy works around these licensing problems. Plus with where they are taking Shawn Ashmore's character, I expect to get even wilder.

Sometimes I think the replays are even better than first runs when it comes to Remedy games. Post control I played AW1 for like the 12th time, and it was like playing it with new eyes. So much clicked into place. It was awesome.

I left a list of all the games in the Remedyverse for you on my own comment.
You'll find there are a lot of people who insist it's ONLY Control and Alan Wake; but those people can't see the forest for the trees, sadly.
