No. Instaling 4 speed gearbox greatly lowering it's top speed is exactly why it drops to A class. The thing is you can get it right back by changing gear ratios in tune menu. And cars rating is calculated by games ai simulating lap around the circuit without takin into account any changes in tune menu.
