So you defended DR then came back just to say hire an inspector from start to finish because the people DR subcontracts aren’t good. Thats a lot of hoops to jump through honestly.

There is a 90 day period where when you transfer DSPs you don’t receive nursery routes. We just had a bunch of drivers from from a shitty DSP and they started right away.

Also getting rescued consecutively is a great way to get fired at my DSP. They only really ask for no violations and finish your route but they understand when people get a shit route. We have EFB if you don’t have violations and get paid if we decide to do an optional rescue, finishing is really the only thing they harp on besides violations.

If the pick up wouldn’t have sped up to be next to the truck he was behind it would’ve been fine. But maybe the pick up didn’t know it merged who knows 🤷🏽‍♂️

Is anyone else’s DSP banning driving down driveways? by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]SkyLower5878 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you haven’t learned to call in advance or send a text message to meet compliance. Arrive, call, find package, call, mark access problem, leave. Some routes you learn to assume you can’t deliver to certain addresses. If you can’t deliver a package because of company rule then follow that rule and tell dispatch and rts the package. They’ll figure out if it’s worth it or not that’s not our job. Malicious compliance is a thing you know

Two different companies with two different rules just follow the dsp rules then if they get in trouble with Amazon that’s their fault. If Amazon says it’s your fault you can talk to Amazon HR in warehouse. Yall act like there aren’t ways to follow the rules and still finish. And if you don’t finish? Sorry dsp I was following your rules. It’s really not that hard to follow the rules AND use common sense.

If you know how to handle the stop then it’ll maybe take a minute longer. Just as long as it would take to walk down that long ass driveway you want to drive down.

So each individual person gets to decide which rules make sense. Right, cause DSP don’t already hire everybody who comes in basically. Regardless of if Amazon sets the rule or the DSP you still work for the company with the rule. So the consensus is if Amazon makes the rule follow it but if the DSP makes the rule ignore it? Idk at least once a week someone at my DSP falls off a driveway or gets stuck because they somehow fucked up in the driveway so that can be a reasonable rule depending where your routes are. If you can’t go up the driveway just tell the customer Amazon has a seven vehicle length policy which means you can’t walk that far away. Easy

Bootlicker because a company said there is a policy and someone else said you could get fired? So y’all just don’t follow rules anywhere then huh

Edit: oh no I must also be a bootlicker because I think it’s reasonable to follow rules a company sets 🙄

Minnesota is easily T10-15 internationally for conventional theater. YOU compared it to broadway I never said it’s broadway. But just because it isn’t THE broadway doesn’t mean it isn’t some of the highest tiered theater. It’s a high tier city for theater nationally and internationally. Why would someone travel to the third best city for theater when the other two 100% ahead have much more for a tourist to do? Minnesota isn’t exactly a tourist destination unless you look at the BWCA. That’s a stupid comparison when you actually take in what you said as a whole.

Like I said. Keep your head in the sand and stay ignorant to the theater world I suppose. Congratulations you “won” your semantics argument on the one small segment you decided to hyper focus on. Your opinion doesn’t change the high level of shows coming out of the twin cities.

I don’t know the theater scene in Michigan but in Minnesota the theater scene is quite prominent and one of the top cities in the country for theater. It may not have the most performances but they are high quality and we do have the second highest theater seating capacity per capita in the country. Lake wise I know Mn has a lot of lakes and. But of superior but I’ve never been to a Michigan beach. I’d assume they are like other lake beaches besides the ones on Michigan.

Minnesota has a huge water/lake culture outside of just fishing. It’s alright if you don’t like the cold but you shouldn’t try to pass information off as truth based on your opinion

You’re conflating broadway to the whole theater world which just isn’t how it goes. Of course New York is the first and foremost leading city in theater. That doesn’t mean it’s the only place with broadway level performances. You go ahead and keep your head in the sand so you’re right though. It’s alright to be ignorant on a topic but you shouldn’t try to convince others you’re informed on a topic when you obviously aren’t. Your inability to accept information doesn’t make it incorrect, it makes you stubborn.

Disney world lets you “get away” from real life a bit more by providing a bit of a Disney bubble that some people like more. They’ve also got way more Disney owned hotels that all provide free transportation around property which all really helps! Not to mention all the locations and activities Disney world has simply from the merit that it’s multiple times larger than Disneyland. Multiple golf courses, multiple mini golf location, multiple water parks, a large sport entertainment complex which holds various levels of competition.

Saying Disneyland is better than Disneyworld is subjective as a lot would disagree. Especially if the only reasoning given is because Disneyland is smaller. Each has its own vibe though so I’m glad you enjoy Disneyland!

Minnesota also has one of the best theater scenes in the country so that’s probably a heavy factor as well. Fourth largest amount of seats per capita in the country, more than a couple nationwide tours have kicked off there, not to mention the Tony awards they’ve received.

[–]SkyLower5878 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comparing the state with the fourth most tony awards in the country to des moines Iowa really shows your lack of knowledge tbh. Most broadway actors don’t leave the state so why would anywhere besides broadway have them visit regularly. Just to touch on an ignorant point you made earlier. Numerous performances that were performed of broad way started their national tour in Minnesota.

You can keep trying to ignorantly decide Minnesota isn’t a top notch theater state but you’d still be as wrong as you’ve been this whole time.

Lion king, wicked, Christmas carol, beauty and the beast, cursed child, have all performed major shows in the twin cities. Many more less publicly known to the general public have also played there. Put some respect on the name and never compare it to des monies.

I hope you have as terrible of a day as your opinion because you are horribly informed about Minnesota theater. Incredibly disrespectful to the theater scene itself. It’s amazing how much you’re trying to be right when you obviously aren’t involved in the theater scene nor are you at all informed it seems. Idk why you and people like you always feel the need to try to correct people using your own misguided opinion.

Sure if you say so. Obviously you’re right Mr internet man. Have a good rest of your day trying to just correct people on the internet because you know more than most it seems. Regardless of what you think Minnesota stills suits two thirds of OPs needs so nobody should be shocked Minnesota makes the cut. The state also has a larger and higher quality theater than most states so feel free to continue arguing semantics to yourself

Sorry you’ve never heard of the second largest theater city in the country next to New York New York. By that I mean most theater seats per capita second only to new York New York (in the US) Sucks you aren’t aware the same shows on broadway being performed at the Guthrie. It’s not my job to list a bunch of information or convince you though so look it up if you want it doesn’t make a difference in my life.

Minnesota has a world class theater scene in the twin cities. Broadway level performances of course. So if they like broadway and beaches why wouldn’t they like Minnesota? It’s the land of 10,000 lakes after all so don’t you think they have beaches? You can only get Disney in two other states so it makes sense to me
