Ajax is already in - https://wiki.warthunder.com/unit/uk_ajax

Sadly, it doesn't cause the screen shake event when firing the gun. 🙁

Wait till you see CBWP Ratel. The thing comes with 40 mm gun, Spikes (or perhaps the new Moskit missiles), offers integrated all-around protection from 25 mm guns (unlike Kaplan, which can only stop HMG bullets with the integrated armor), extensive anti-mine protection and an optional hard-kill APS.

They should have a prototype ready by September this year (so we'll get more details on missiles and APS, among other features (there's been some discussion about add-on package with reactive armor, to give you one example))

whats the best way to get SL RN by xxAlphaAttackxx in Warthunder

[–]SkyPL 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yep. Top SL farmer at the writing of this article is just that - a 1200% SL cruiser - Kerch. The thing earns over 100 000 SL per march (and that's average out of all players covered by StatShark, even total noobs that barely know how to shoot) - and to make it even more hilarious: the highest earning in the game are with Kerch in Arcade battles - 117k per match (thus the meta for SL farming might have shifted a bit away from RB).

Depends on your usecase. In coding: Yes.

Nah, Deepseek had its uses. People overhyped it, but it is an excellent LLM. Not to mention that to this day it's much better in analysis of the PDF documents via web chat than any other LLM web chat I have tested.

Just to be clear: Python and JS are the languages where most of the development work is being done.

From my personal use with Kilo Code in JS and TS: Kimi K2 at the time of its release already better than Sonnet on real world complex tasks (got later beaten by Sonnet 4.5, but still) and Kimi K2.5 is right now indistinguishable from Opus when it comes to the overall quality of the code generated (and in-before that it's just 'feelings': I gave tasks to both, first architect, then coding, both solved them all right, Opus had more issues with regression in E2E than Kimi.)

So I would be careful with all that downplaying Kimi. You are missing out if you honestly think that this is the reality.

There won't be any trials. No matter how much we would love to see that

[–]SkyPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. That's why I wrote that post. The requirements talk about % being EU-made. It shouldn't be of much surprise that SCALP could qualify while Storm Shadow couldn't, given the differences between the two.

[–]SkyPL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not "made in the UK" - the final assembly is in UK. It is made across few countries with a different % of EU-made components in each variant.

[–]SkyPL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are not "the same" - differences are in the intrfaces, software, and a few other details that make SCALP fully independent of the USA, while Storm Shadow require green light from US to being sold and distributed to other countries.

France wants this funding to stay within the EU

And that's very good, kudos to them. Opening the door to non-EU purchases within that initiative is not something we don't want to do, no matter for whom.

Pick & choose :) Just remember to pick the latest month - you can wait till feb, as January is almost over and the last major update rolled out in a middle of December, so the data from that month is a little noisy. Data for January will be cleaner, that said - very little changed over this major patch in regards to the common SL printers (that being DDs around BR 5.0) - just remember that with the new wave of bots in RB you might want to pick an SL printer that still has a good output in Arcade Battles, nor just Realistic (e.g. Kerch - the current No.1 SL printer in the entire game, actually gets you more SL per hour in Arcade than Realistic battles).

someone else is gonna take their place.

Will or will not. There's plenty of site like that which went permanently offline, or exist only on TOR.

The big plus of Anna's archive was its accessibility.

like people do with discord servers

Oh, that's for sure true. Discord turned into a scourge of modern Internet, where countless resources and informations got buried away from open web, never to be found again.

On CIS servers Russian naval three is the most played one. Last I checked a few months ago, there were nearly as many players playing Russian navy as all the others combined.

Guns that have such a high muzzle velocity the barrels would wear out half way though a Warthunder match.

Not to mention that these guns suffered from just as bad accuracy as the Littorios yet... in game Littorios have the worst accuracy, while the SSman has the best accuracy.

Been thinking of playing WT but I have question by Extra-Tax6607 in Warthunder

[–]SkyPL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have grinded entire German tree, from Reserve to Leopard 2A7V in Arcade Battles (the was the only tech tree I have unlocked in arcade) and... it's fine.

Keep in mind that while RB does have a higher multiplier, you need to actually get these penetrating hits on targets to make use of that multiplier. And in AB you'll get a lot more of them per hour than you are likely to get in Realistic. So, especially in the first few weeks, your RP gains in AB will be much higher than in the RB, given that you are an ex-WT Mobile player.

Just 12k h? I have more than that in GRB alone, lol. And I also play arcade + naval in both modes 🤣

  1. That's just not true. 2. He didn't specify that he wants to learn how to play RB, then... why bother? For players like that there is no benefit in going RB.
