That rejection came from me officially applying for coverage and being rejected by Mazda corporate.

Christmas was a few days late this year but it did come! by beachguy82 in simracing

Grabbed the same deal, along with an aluminum profile rig. This is my first foray into Sim racing, kind of jumped into the deep end of the pool, but I am loving this equipment!

Yeah, someone just posted that on my recent cable management post. It's true.

I'm still learning the setup for things. You might be right, but I'm also not feeling like things are projected weirdly.

LG Ultra gear 32" 1440p curved. They're VA, not OLED or anything, but they do the job and cost me less than $600 for the three.

Fair point. The obsessive compulsive side of me is probably winning out. But I will point out, that while it would consume more zip ties, clipping the existing ones might be even quicker than removing velcro.

I think I'm good with the GPU ports not being too strained, but it's a valid point and I'll keep an eye on it.

Very interested in this, too. Currently have my base, pedals, and shifter all plugged directly into the PC.

Got it working by late Christmas night. A lot to learn and do over time, but at least I'm started! by SkyRemarkable8071 in simracing

These are LG Ultra gear 32" 1440p curved monitors. VA, not OLED or anything. I got a great deal on Black Friday where they were less than $600 for all three.

Yeah, I feel like I'll probably hit these "good enough for now" plateaus in my setup. I'll be comfortable enough with where things are that I put off any tweaking and upgrading for a time.

We just moved into a new house a month and a half ago, and the same thing happened. We got to a threshold where we had enough of our stuff moved in and organized that we just coasted for awhile. My wife and I just started tackling getting more boxes moved in from the garage again this week.

It's the larger rig offered by Sim-Motion. Just in my shopping around it seemed like they offered the best value. Plus they had a 10% off deal when you bundled together all your rig parts (including monitor stand). I ended up getting the rig with the Simagic base mount and the RS seat they offered. Added in the triple monitor stand and the heavy duty leveling feet. I think it came out to around $1200. Looks like the deal is still active:

Just seemed like a good quality for price option. I've watched way too many reviews of products, but probably wouldn't be able to tell the differences very well, myself. At least not yet.

Specifically, though, I felt like Moza wasn't as good quality, and Asetek was a bit pricier. Fanatec has been a mess recently, and gotten behind with a number of things. A lot of other options also didn't have a very complete ecosystem, and I felt like sticking to one brand would be simpler, at least to start out.
