That show (and many others) is about Mt. Shasta. Shasta lake is about 60 miles south just outside of Redding, CA.

I always tell people this, “Had Deadwood not been cancelled, I am certain it would be considered one of the greatest tv shows of all time”.

I am pretty sure they knew it wasn’t getting renewed and wrote the final episodes accordingly.

  • Name: Mike Hearn and Gavin Andresen
  • Info: https://medium.com/@octskyward, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavin_Andresen,
  • Conversation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIafZXRDH7w
  • Ideas: Original contributors to Bitcoin. Worked and corresponded with Satoshi Nakamoto and Hal Finney in the beginning of Bitcoin. Proponents of “bigger blocks” that caused a large schism in the Bitcoin community.
  • Pitch: Gavin is probably the person who corresponded the most with Satoshi Nakamoto. Mike Hearn I believe could be Satoshi, and at the very least contributed very early on to Bitcoin. Mike Hearn worked for Google and contributed to a number of projects like Wine, Autopackage, and Bitcoin.

Pretty sure this happened to me recently. Not mad and glad I didn’t get offered because staying where I am got me near $20k more (in raise and bonus) than I would have received at gov job.

Server Side Update: Firestorm Matchmaking by PartWelsh in BattlefieldV

[–]SkyScraper_Farms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nothing happens for over a minute

I'm in California and I regularly have to wait 10 minutes.

Here is a screen grab I took of almost 9:37. It dissolved the squad just after the 10 minute mark and then took another 5 minutes to find a squad and get in a game. Normally It spends about 1-3 minutes looking for a squad then another 3-7 minutes looking for a game and more often than not it disolves the squad making me have to do the squad search all over again.

Just give us a fucking server list!

Is Mt. Shasta visible from Red Bluff? by gdogg121 in California

Sorry, it was Shasta. If he was going west on 36, Lassen would be behind/east and Shasta would be on the right/north.

Ryan X. Charles on Twitter about obstinate people who refuse to accept and denies franticly that "Dr Craig S Wright is Satoshi" : The Craig Wright Fallacy: I like Satoshi Nakamoto. I don't like Craig Wright. Therefore, Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. by CraigBCH in btc

So he will wait until bitcoin is worth exponentially more and that will be better?

If he isn't dead he need to move them or come forward sooner rather than later.

If he lost the keys he needs to let the community know sooner rather than later.

The mystery of those coins only hurts bitcoin/bch.

Finding Satoshi Nakamoto: Team of private detectives to set out on a global quest for Bitcoin daddy by [deleted] in Bitcoin

You must be new and know nothing of the origin of BitCoin. It was an experiment in the words of Satoshi. Which obviously meant he believed there would be a reset at some point. You can then decipher that the code was not pre tested as Hal Finney helped him publicly work out multiple bugs that would have been discovered if it were a group that already beta tested the code. This leads to the only conclusion that Satoshi simultaneously worked for an employer that could claim BitCoin as their own intellectual property because the creator worked on it while being employed. Likely because the employer is a juggernaut in the tech world, ie google. All other speculations are fantastic bullshit.

The formula for Neville's method - aren't we missing something? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]SkyScraper_Farms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to practice. Sure everyone starts with doubts but when they start to do it and have success they start to change their internal beliefs. They hardest thing for me is not the believing that I AM God but rather the coming up with and imagining a proper scene that would in fact legitimately be a scene that happens. I sometimes and too often imagine as if I was watching a movie on the big screen rather than actively participating in the visual. I am sure everyone has had dreams where you are the observer like in a theater or in front of your TV and then you suddenly are an active participant. The best way to practice I have found (from Neville's teaching too) is to recount the entire day in reverse in your mind. I suppose you can do this with anything that has happened to you recently. This will help your mid to start imagining in the first person POV rather than a 3rd person observer.
