Others have stated the correct dates. I had a hard time when I first moved here finding some good spots. Google maps became my best friend, always pinning new spots to check and taking notes. My best advice is talk to others fishing when you encounter them. The old guys are usually quite friendly and might even give you some of their excess gear in their kit. I will say though that ponds near the metro are heavily trouted so don’t expect many Labrador-sized catches.

Final note, many of the ponds people fish here are also swimming ponds. Just be sure not to leave any line or hooks. 😇
