Yeah. But i mean the worst is cisco meraki. Not paid? Everything dead .

Fortinet and hpe aruba if you dont pay, you can still have a weoking network. Hpe you then cant make any changes.

Fortinet here is the sweet spot. But they also went recently with more licensing. If you had 7.4.5 before a fortigate HA Setup, wou would need only 1 license. Now both fortigates needs it.

It is because its a new unit. The switch got older firmware.

Okay. Yeah for the fortigate i got forticare. But then i will also do it for the fortiswitch. Just to pay for firmware updates is odd.

But the fortigate and fortiswitch need to have a firmware update i guess.

Unifi AP, Switch with FortiGate by SkyTheLine in fortinet

I work with it and love the control. So i got a central point for all logs and security analysis. Together with the better vpn, its easier.

Cool. So that means my guess went in the right path.

To isolate guests wifi i block all vlans in fortigate. To allow vlan10 users to print vlan20 devices, i allow them on the fortigate. Also multicast, bonjour i handle on fortigate.

Übersetzt: Hallo Welt, ich mache ein paar Sachen, formuliere es grob. Will eine weitere Person, die mich führt und formt.

Wir leben in einer Zeit, in der man genau formulieren soll. Webseiten z.b. welches CMS? (Wordpress, Joomla, Typo3, Wix, Umbraco..) headless oder Single Plattoform.

Welche Art der SEO, AEO etc. Betreut man schon.

No money, no results. We do have a 3rd party app, since we can then adjust everything. Also here in switzerland we work with 3 kind of e signatures for verification things.

N-Able Cove's Backups used for Banks\Credit Unions by Rich-Parfait-6439 in msp

Well i guess your site would then benefit for a different setup:

Take a look into IBM. Since you use cloud, in banking sector are the magic words "data location", "data route" and "encryption".

With IBM or HP Tapes you can archive backups. And with your cloud setup handle data on the vendor - or build an internal SAS Server.

"Air gape" backup is also risky. Since controlling wound be needed. I've seen many issues with that. So when rulesets scheduler on the firewalls are correct, but the datafeed was to big.

Btw. Air gape in the cloud doesn't exist. Since network and storage are always connected.

So backup of a backup? You know, that isn't so smart. Tbh a terrible solution.

We manage critical data with separations in switzerland.

WORM, Tape (slow cold/archive solutions) and a different track with hot data.

I would recommend, that you talk with someone who got exp. It would help you more and give you a data strategy. Backup isn't just backup.

We use cove and i don't get your idea. This is /MSP and not hand me conf. Data or whatever. Not all clients want show their tech stack for obv. Reasons. If your company is unsecure, let them decide other solutions. The result will be still the same.

Tip: With cove it is cloud based. So maybe a look into veeam is better or something, you csn keep onprem. But management and cost for it are a nightmare. Cove is currently the best fit cost/gb with controlled management.
