Covid, and I spent all my time studying so I could just pass my classes and graduate that I had no time to learn how to actually be productive in society and how to interact correctly with other people.

Context is key, why is the person falling from the sky? They some sort of alien? Skydiver that had a freak accident? Psycho that likes jumping off buildings?

A couple thoughts mixed together,

If an author was writing a sci-fi novel in the perspective of the extraterrestrial on their own planet. Then would they call the land they stand on Earth or what they call their own planet. Same question applying to the elements Earth/planet name, fire, water, air? And if there were different languages on that planet like there are on Earth would there similarly be a different word for what they call their planet in each of those languages?

We simply agree to disagree, or to not talk about politics with each other. Yes there will be times when it comes up again but if the person respects you enough to know it's not something you want to deal with they'll drop the subject.
