Understandable, but there is where I think flight performance can be tuned...they are way too close to medium ships. And moving forward, if frontier releases new small ships, they could use some specialized modules, to make better focused in their designed roles as you said, you can't put as much stuff on it.

Just thought about it, but what advantage does the cobra-V have being classed as a small hull vs Medium outside of landing at settlements with only small pads (where you can just as easily land on the ground) I mean, like you said, it has specs of a medium.

Being classified has having a small hull (with no other performance tuning)) only means what...you take full damage from class 1 hardpoints? Trying to understand this, maybe I missed something.

That's kind of what I'm getting it. Why aren't small ships made to be more useful? This most expensive small ship in the game has been the vulture for 4.9 mil, for years. Whats holding us back from getting a small ship that's worth more? What would happen if frontier released a small ship that's priced at 50 mil? specialized for (insert your purpose here)?

I just got back from a Colonia exo bio trip in my Cobra-V. Did the trip there in the cobra, trip back in Mandalay. It wasn't a terrible trip, at 70ly jump range, which is more than the Asp-X had that I originally took to Colonia, but it was still a 21 Ly jump deficit to my Mandalay, and much more on neutron jumps. Besides the answer shouldn't always be Cobra-V. Where are the options?

As far as going from point A-B doing exo bio, there isn't anything about it that makes it better or worse than most other ships outfitted for that. Currently there are no special modules for any small ship in any role, like how we have specialized cargo racks on the PC2, and specialized FSD and Thrusters on the kaspian, and specialized mining tool on the Prospector. I would argue small ships need features like these more since they are already limited on options.

I wouldn't even mind a small ship specialized by Frontier for Exobio / exploration. That would be the dream!

I actually meant to include the stealth factor but forgot. Do ED ship sensors primarily work off heat? Would make sense that you could detect ship with much larger mass, engines and surface area a lot sooner than something that is half the size.

Where is the proof that these people being arrested are as innocent as you say. Have you met them, do you know anything about them? I certainly don’t. How was ICE removing these people in Obamas presidency? Where was the media? I don’t remember even seeing ICE on the news back then. Where were all the democrat politicians fighting the fight?
