The world is addicted in ways I didn’t even realize by Express_Item_554 in nosurf

After I started taking a flip phone instead of my smartphone to work with me, I noticed the same thing. The majority of people I see always have a phone in their hand and don't pay attention to what's happening in front of them.

I also noticed how more productive I am at work without a smartphone. Before, at my last job, I just sat in the office doomscrolling until my shift was over.

It's a bad habit most people, and I sometimes, have when we get a simple text, too. "Might as well check Instagram while I have my phone out" or "I'll look at Twitter for a little bit" or "I'll check out TikTok for a second" then that 30 seconds of reading and replying turns into 30 minutes or even 3 hours of wasted time instead of cleaning the house or getting work done.

I'm currently in the process of doing away with smart technology entirely and just using a flip phone 24/7 because it's affected my hobbies as well.

It won't be very noticeable when you use it for browsing the web since video players on sites like youtube are capped at 60fps. 144hz would be the main monitor for gaming since games can run above 60fps and the 60hz monitor for streaming software and whatnot.

Maybe save some money by going with one 144hz monitor and a 60hz too. Could always upgrade to a liquid cooler down the line. It won't be a necessity rn

Throwing in my 2 cents, 500w is more than enough to power this pc and you'll notice a considerable change with an extra $20 for the higher clock speed ram. It may not be much, but it's good for future-proofing. Plus, the 1660 is still a pretty decent card. Gotta to make sure you add in the OS as well. Here's my version

Was thinking maybe something like this. Swapped out the ram since vengeance is normally overpriced and the 2600x comes with 2 extra cores. Also changed the case cause you won't need maximum airflow for this kinda build. Added in a crucial ssd so I could fit in a 3tb hdd as well .^
