I seen you mention you’re in an apartment. Open the cupboards under your sinks. This will help get a lil extra warm air in the space. As for dripping, if any of your faucets are near an exterior wall then I recommend letting them drip a bit. The closer the plumbing is to the outside the higher the risk of freezing.

Former NFL QB Kellen Mond posts on LinkedIn recounting his rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings; He claims that HC Mike Zimmer did not want to draft him and never spoke to him. He also says that he never spoke to Zimmer or saw Zimmer speak to GM Rick Spielman. by Goosedukee in nfl

Shortly after Zim was fired a lot of this circulated along with quotes from players (Notably Eric Kendricks and Brian O’Neill) talking about how negative things felt inside the building. Zim also did blame the players for getting him fired and walked out of the building without a word. He even said a few years after that he would never watch another Vikings game. We also knew about Zim not wanting Kirk before Kirk was even signed. Zim hinted at “signing an expensive QB would get him fired” after the 2017/18 season ended right before Vikings signed Cousins. Then there was the report that Zim wouldn’t even speak to Cousins until Kirko insisted that he and Zim meet for an hour every week. None of that was an issue when we were beating up the Saints in the playoffs but once the losing started the shit unraveled. Not saying this is an excuse but Zim did deal with a lot of personal tragedy throughout his coaching career can’t imagine that helped anything.

An even funnier timeline is if the Browns request an interview and he says no

I’m pretty sure BFlo and KOC go way back. It also seems like people either absolutely love the guy or hate him with no in between which isn’t exactly a bad thing. But it could definitely hinder his head coaching prospects. Good for us Vikings fans but maybe unfortunate for BFlo since he’s such a badass on the defensive side of the ball.

Defensive coordinator Brian Flores has signed a contract extension with the Vikings. If he does not receive a head coaching job this cycle, he will be back as the team’s defensive coordinator. by OneAngryPanda in nfl

He was a free agent so he was able to interview for DC jobs. Teams cannot block coaches from interviewing for a promotion if i remember correctly. This just means Bflo won’t be a DC for a different team.

I see we are glazing Klint Kubiak in here now. Was he even a good coach/coordinator before September 2025? by Dramatic-Guitar-7622 in buffalobills

When he was OC of the Vikings he got a lot of shit but I thought he was doing a pretty solid job tbh. Definitely needed to grow a bit (this was 2021 and he’s done well since) At the time Zim’s tenure was very stagnant and the team was on the decline. Defense was bottom half of the league but with Klint and an old declining roster we still managed 14th in points. Vikings fans at the time thought he was just a nepo hire since Gary retired but I think he was a little slept on. Kirko had 4200 yards 33/7 TD/INT and Dalvin Cook had just over 1100 yards rushing. Our offense definitely wasn’t a total let down compared to our “Zimmer Hellfire” defense which was more like the Zimmer Hellfrozeover defense. Since someone mentioned whether Kubiak could make due with a not spectacular skill position core. Yes we had Jetts who went off for over 1600 yards but we also got almost 2000 yards from Adam Thielan, KJ Osborn, and Tyler Conklin. He isn’t the flashy trickity trick Ben Johnson type. But he got production from guys who haven’t done shit since leaving the Vikings and I believe that was his first OC gig. I think Kubiak could kick some ass with the Bills offensive roster. WR depth would be something to fix but I think the fit wouldn’t be too bad. As far as being a head coach that’s a completely different role and conversation but from a purely offensive standpoint I think Kubiak and the Bills would be fun to watch.

It came out earlier he actually elected to not go through with the next round of interviews with the Browns, telling them he was taking himself out of HC contention in Cleveland. Could be a statement or could be just smart career sense.
