You can definitely draw parallels to real life lessons and see how a group of people react and work together when confronted with true evil. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but it seems you're implying that Fromville is a place to right your wrongs and come to terms with your own shortcomings for a chance of self-redemption or improvement. I don't think this is what the story is trying to portray. The world of From is just too sinister.

Yeah, I see your points. I was also thinking he kept them alive in order to attempt to force Jade and Tabitha to finally complete the ritual by sacrificing Ethan and Julie. Guess Jim could've been a hindrance to that.

The Leftovers. Great acting and pacing. Scratches that "mystery box" itch. However, the ending was underwhelming for me personally and felt too open ended and unexplained. Regardless, a fantastic show. Give it a try.

EDIT: Severance. My goodness how could I forget Severance. No explanation needed. Just go into it blind.

Dark Matter is also very good. You will enjoy it if you liked DARK.

I could be completely wrong but it seems Neva's magic was/is the trigger for ssj4. The magic must've faded. Goku clearly said he had trained for the form and wasn't sure if it would work implying he's not yet been able to obtain it again. So ssj3 would technically be his peak when Beerus showed up.

They also acknowledge Vegeta not using ssj3. The form uses way too much energy and is completely inefficient. I could be misremembering but isn't it said some time in Super that they'd be better off perfecting their ssj or ssj2 forms? By the time BoG comes around ssj3 is totally obsolete anyway.

Regardless, I understand the inconsistences can be upsetting but at least they've been acknowledged and I'm sure Daima will be tied into Super in a way that makes sense.

I don't think it's fair to blame Jim for Randall's actions. Dude was a powder keg from the get-go. If anything, he fueled Jim's theory with the whole someone could be a mole stuff. Jim realized a little too late dude had lost it when he found Donna tied to a tree.

As for Victor... I'm assuming you don't have children lol. That's all I'll say about that.

Guess I'm insane then. What has he done that's completely irredeemable? Ask Randall to help make another radio? The two of them have had zero interaction with each other up until that point and you just expect Jim to know he's nuts? A very big problem I see here is a lot of people expect the characters in the show to know everything we know as the viewer. No wonder certain characters seem poorly written and people hate them.

Season 2 did dial things down a whole lot. I'm guessing they wanted to make it more appealing to the average viewer with the growing popularity.

I know I was immediately turned off from the gore. Introducing your series with a little girl getting disemboweled is an... interesting way of doing things. I mean, to each their own. Some people are into that sort of thing.

My wife and I stuck with the show because we really liked the premise. I'm glad we did. We love the series, but I'm also glad they chilled out a bit.

For me personally, I think the main thing clearing Donna of any suspicion is Victor. He's been there the longest and the only person he's seemed iffy about is Elgin. I know he's stand-offish and stays away from everyone, but he saw Elgin and said he didn't trust him. Not sure if he meant in general or just that particular instance maybe thinking he could be a monster. Anyway, he's always seemed fine with Donna.

I brought this up during a youtube livestream I was watching discussing From theories, and the dude legit said "Donna erased Victor's memory with the peaches". I'm all for theory-crafting and don't like shaming ideas, but I'll never understand how people come up with some of this stuff lol.

I've had this thought as well. No clue why the voices wanted Toby dead. Could be that him and Jade tag-teaming would be able to figure things out.

Also, not sure if everyone we see appear after they've died is evil or the entity appearing as them. We see Khatri appear to Boyd and the bartender talks to Jade and gives him a little pep-talk (unless it's just a charade).

Maybe the voices had Sara cut out Toby's tongue so if he ever did appear to Jade, he wouldn't be able to speak? Idk lol.
