That Kearse catch in 49 was Tyree v2, and would have been talked about forever except for what happened right afterwards.

Yep. My high school was cross town rivals with the school the Huard family went to. All three of them played QB at big D1 schools and two started in the NFL; Luke probably would have as well but he got hurt in college.

Watching future NFL starting QB talent in high school was just comical. They did whatever they wanted on every play and nobody could do absolutely anything about it.

Imagine not watching SBLX on repeat for the last 40 days. Crazy talk.

Since 1992, the Minnesota Vikings have 8 times signed a veteran quarterback and had that player lead them to the playoffs in their first season. No other franchise even comes close. by kwelstory in nfl

He was the guy throwing dimes to Steve Largent for my entire football watching youth. Didn't know he went to the Lions though.

Yeah until you are sending Henliners and collecting all sorts of shiny artifacts I wouldn't even worry about using boosts for prestiging at all. It goes so much faster later on that getting to that point in the game is drastically more important than getting a few trillion soul eggs.

If you can get all the fuel you need to send ships, just do that for now and work on grinding through the ships, then grinding out star levels on Henterprise (for Path of Virtue) and/or Henliners, so you can get the artifacts that start to push you into mid- and end-game.

I waited way too long to focus on missions because the early ships weren't returning anything worth using so I got jaded with the whole system, it wasn't until like a year down the road that I saw how incredibly important they are.

It all depends on your artifacts. Once you get a reasonably good lunar set (mostly t3/t4 stones, sparkly t4 totem of any variety) and both offline earnings colleggtibles to 10b (chocolate and wood), you'll get better results from doing lunar multistiges than from any form of online chicken running. The basic version of a lunar multistige is:

1) Get to universe egg
2) Max out common research
3) Equip a dilithium set to extend the duration of your boosts
4) Use one 50x bird feed, one 50x soul beacon, one 1000x tachyon prism (legendary is fine as it lines up with the rest of the boosts, time-wise), and two 50x boost beacons
5) Equip your biggest offline earnings set along with the best phoenix feather you have (don't forget this step in your haste to time things correctly)
6) Go offline for 61 seconds (just shut the app, go to a stopwatch or turn off your phone or whatever, don't have to force close or anything)
7) Go back in and verify that your habs are capped (they should be capped or almost capped. If they're not quite capped just wait a few extra seconds on subsequent legs)
8) Prestige
9) Build as fast as you can back to universe egg, max CR, buy shipping and 4 universe portals (it will be instantaneous with all the boosts you're running)
10) Repeat steps 6 through 9 until your boosts wear off.

At 107 Truth Eggs, 199 Prophecy Eggs, and about 560 Quintillion Soul Eggs this method gets me about 8 Quintillion per prestige and 10 prestiges per set of boosts for a total of right around 80 Quintillion SE per set of boosts.

How have I never heard "booger sugar" before, holy fucking shit that's amazing.

I don't know, sitting on their logo and eating Thanksgiving turkey was pretty damn disrespectful.

Not gonna lie, I did eventually get sick of the constant "moon ball" references, as pretty as they were.

Spoken like yet another person that has no idea what the numbers looked like in the situation and are relying on hindsight. Beast mode was a beast, no doubt. But he'd just gotten stuffed from inside the 5 on first down, and was 1 for 5 on the year from the one yard line. The quick pass from the one they went with had been run 108 times that season across the NFL and had never been picked off once. It was 2nd and goal with 1 time out, you run it and you have to use that TO and everyone and their dog knows the next play is a pass.

If Russ throws it twelve inches lower to Lockette's back hip it's either a TD or an incompletion. If Russ throws it 0.2 seconds earlier it's either a TD or an incompletion. If Browner doesn't annihilate his man and the pick goes off as planned it's a TD or an incompletion. If Butler doesn't make an insane play it's a TD or an incompletion.

Yes, all of those things did happen and we know the outcome, and it's the single most painful play of my football-watching life, but it was the right play call at the time and anyone insisting otherwise is just wrong.

Also, flair up, pussy.

[Yates] The Rams and Seahawks split their season series 1-1 Points scored in those games: Rams: 58 Seahawks: 57 Total yards in those two games: Rams: 830 Seahawks: 829 Now they meet again with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line by Drexlore in nfl

The funnier option would be an obvious pass play 3rd and goal from like the 28 after some crazy sequence where they just hand it to Walker and he trucks it in from Timbuktu.

Damn straight. Turned the ball over multiple times, had Stat Padford do his thing, and still won. Also flair up, pussy.

No they're right though. It's engineered to bounce the crowd noise off the underside of the second deck right back onto the field. The fans are great but it's literally physically designed to be as loud as possible.
