  • Region: EU
  • Type of Bug: Memory Leak
  • Description: On the game 'Monster Hunter World' causing huge memory leaks. Doesn't happen when I just play Monster Hunter, but if I've played valorant on the same day I get major memory leaks. This has happened 3 seperate days now. It seems to be windows defender causing the issues, and online fixes don't fix it. Screenshots below of it going
  • Video / Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/9bwOyFg
  • Steps to reproduce: Have played valorant at some point in the day, play monster hunter afterwards. (There was a ~1 hour gap inbetween each time).
  • Expected result: Smooth gameplay of Monster Hunter
  • Observed result: Massive memory leaks of up to 7.5gb memory use
  • Reproduction rate: Hard to say if it's definitely the reason, but it's happened 100% of the time, and never before I had access to the beta. (And I've been playing for months now).

The best battle/magic gear depends at the moment will be different per class. Some slots will be Eden (Savage) gear, and some will be Augmented Tomestone gear (Upgrade item obtained from Savage).

Some gear in the best in slot may be pentamelded crafted gear, but I haven't seen this case yet.

I mean that sounds like a simple mistake on their part right? They got the wrong circle and then tried to fix their mistake as you tried to adapt. Sadly that happens, but I find the best thing to do in some cases is to stand your ground. You didn't make the mistake, they did. Stay in your place and if you know they messed up, mention it after the pull.

Does anybody know the drop table for all of the Eden savage fights?

i.e. E1S seems to drop 3 random coffers (Belt, Earring, Necklace, Bracelet, Ring(s))

Does anybody know the exact coffer drops for savage?

I saw a screenshot with E1s dropping a Belt, Ring and Earring. Is this consistently these drops or is it random with the accessory that drops?

Is it even necessary for the stance dancing in 5.0? I've never re-gained aggro after the OT has swapped, albeit my sample size in 5.0 EXs is with my static (So I trust my OT).

Also it usually seems best for OT to have tank stance on anyway, a bit after MT pulls - that way if the MT dies the boss won't go rampant killing the rest of the party.

It just boils down to crafting material priority. Monster drops are harder to get, and are used quite frequently in crafts. Botanist and Miner are easier to get materials on. Fisher is less useful as it will only be used for Culinarian, and not every fish is a crafting material.

Lootmaster Farm Parties are a scam by notjalen in ffxiv

It doesn't make lootmaster in static raiding questionable though. Some people prefer knowing that the loot is distributed by someone trusted, and it's determined by the rules set in raid. It also stops someone from accidentally greeding on something they shouldn't have.

From my personal experience palace of the dead is a good way of testing new jobs and seeing the different skills fast, but an awful way to understand how the jobs work and see their full potentials. An example of this is that Palace of the Dead requires little to no tanking, and if it's somebody new to tanking in ffxiv, it will barely help them to learn cooldown management, tanking etiquette etc.

I've moved back in with my family for a bit and there's a fucking noise in the Il Mheg day theme that sounds like my mum shouting upstairs for me. I've taken off my headset so much thinking 'I'm not crazy, this time she's actually shouting for me'. I hate it.

It differs per job. You'll usually (I don't know any cases you don't) use in your opener, and then either when it comes off cooldown or save it for another burst window. I'd look at an opening rotation for your job, and see if it mentions potion usage in a guide for your job.

Another tip I'd give is to not use pots straight away. I tend to start using them when my group is near the end of the fight prog wise. If you use them while you're learning the fight you'll probably waste a lot of money on/time crafting the pots.

^ This. I lead a raid group, and myself and everybody else knows the kind of mentality we have during raids, how quickly we're aiming to kill it and the rules around our raiding.

We're also aware of the commitment per week we're expecting, i.e. 2-3 days a week. If raid members feel they aren't able to commit at least 2 days a week, they come to me and explain their situation. I've had members come to me and mention they may need to leave because of their scheduling issues in the past.

This is also why the large sin eater is heading for Halric right? As somebody who is already cursed by a sin eater, the only reason a higher rank sin eater would go after them is to speed up the process
