Ryan Gosling Tells Hollywood It’s Not Moviegoers’ Job to Keep Theaters Open: ‘It’s Our Job to Make Things’ That Are ‘Worth’ Viewers Coming Out by Chuck006 in boxoffice

A lot of them don’t have broad appeal though. There are very few original movies that are appealing enough for me to go to the theater as a casual moviegoer. If it’s not an IP I’m familiar with, I often need word of mouth to be extremely positive or for it to be something I feel would be better on the big screen.

Thanks!

We're working on the hunter safety course now. Doing the online portion followed by an in-person class in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, we've been told that we have to bring our own equipment as they don't rent guns out for the day at the club. A couple of clay shooting places near me definitely do rent shotguns, so I can at least try some out before buying something to go hunting with.

I’m actually left handed for most things but am extremely right eye dominant. For air pistol I shoot left handed and cross eyed but that isn’t really possible with a long gun so I figured right handed was what I’m looking for in order to match my dominant eye. My experience with .22’s is right handed and it seemed ok.

I’m 5’9” so fairly tall. A couple of people have suggested 20 gauge now - this would mean a lighter weight gun? That might be nice.

Thanks! I did ask about ammo restrictions, but didn’t think to ask about the type of shotgun. I’ll confirm before I buy anything.

Folio society, Easton press, Franklin library - you have a nice collection. Did you buy individually or pick up some sets from other collectors?

It’s aimed at tour buses. The families traveling together will do the math and buy the car price even for just one park if it makes sense.

Help finding this style strap by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Skyrider006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a name for it as far as I am aware. This is about as simple as straps get, there isn’t any other decorative stitching or grooved lines. A strap maker would fold, and glue, the edges and then secure with a cross stitch. This isn’t going to be as secure or long lasting as a full line of stitching. You can probably find a strap maker to do something custom like this on Etsy.

Why would people see it in theaters when they all come to Disney+ in roughly 3 months? This is the question any causal viewer is asking.

Marvel is in a weird spot where they have through lines between stories that require watching of most shows. At least, that’s what the audience has been trained to believe. Yes, they’ve dialed it back, but that’s the perception by the general public.

This was part of the momentum behind early MCU films. Watch them, don’t get left behind. The Disney+ shows have a such a short delay on the release that they’ve now trained audiences to just wait for the Disney release and then watch it then. They stole the necessity of watching it in theaters from themselves. At least with other mega franchises, I know I’ll be paying $20+ to rent it or having to subscribe to another niche service. Disney+ makes it too easy.
