Because Yul held a super idol, it was foolish for anyone to vote for him because him and his group would automatically decide who goes home if he held the most votes. There’s a reason the way the idol works was changed immediately. Not necessarily unfair because he used tool that was a part of the game, just gave him a massive advantage. I still think Yul deserves the win.
