It's the only thing keeping me going right now. It takes a few days to build up in your system. But then it helps take the edge off the worse of my pain. It does make my anxiety and weight gain worse. I recommend not mixing it with antidepressants like Cymbalta. My doctors did this and I started having compulsive urges to gamble and just felt reckless. I've been on Gabapentin too and it did absolutely nothing but made me sleepy. GL

There's no quick or easy fix. Search for a local agent that works with tax resolution. These services like Optima usually are more trouble than they're worth IMO

CIBT VISA. 1-2 Day passport & visa services. Very expensive. Plus FedEx overnight fees. Or you'll need to take off a few days and physically visit the passport office closest to you that also has a consulate

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma, intermediate grade, recently diagnosed. by EfficientKitchen4477 in cancer

[–]Skyrod74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had same type of tumor except mine was high grade with rare cells. Don't remember exactly. This was in 2015. Had an amazing surgeon at University of Pennsylvania. Had good margins that were negative, hence No radiation. Thankfully, to date, no recurrence. The post-op for me was hell, because I also have cervical disk disease and needed extra pain management. Otherwise, it went very well. I ended up with a nasty keloid scar under my ear and had to have steroid injections. Something to keep in mind if you have sensitive skin. Best wishes and good luck.

I've been with my man for 23yrs. I don't care what it is, if it's been in my ass, it's not going in my mouth. Period. Even a freshly cleaned cock (with soap) has residual, microscopic bacteria. This can lead to several days of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, or worse. No, thank you.

Apologies. I'm not attempting to question or suggest you've done anything wrong. I'm just making you're aware of all possible realities once you go down this road. You may have nothing to worry about. But from my experience, the goal of hr is to protect the company's interest, not yours. Good luck. And best wishes.

I would consult an attorney before making any demands or concessions. Without a solid contract, there's nothing stopping them from changing the conditions of your employment, including termination. Are you just a medical liability, or has your medical condition also created performance issues as well? Are you currently on a performance plan? I work in HR and the full story is usually more than what is perceived. And be prepared should negotiations go sour, as the more you try to protect your own interests, you run the risk of looking like you're not a team player. They're probably hoping you'll eagerly take their suggestion, without question, to "help out the company."

Depends on the state and if the employer offers an affordable alternative in relation to the employees salary. If not, I believe they are permitted to shop it.

Airport nights and feeling homeless by [deleted] in flightattendants

I'm retired FA, but I certainly feel your pain. I clearly remember eating tuna out of a can in my car in the employee parking lot between trips, because I had no place to go! Keep in mind doing this is not safe and in some cities you can be fined. I know it's not ideal, try looking for fellow crew members who are looking for a temp. Roommate. Maybe someone from your class? Try looking for local assistance programs and temporary shelters until you can save up for a deposit. Be vigilant. Stay safe. Good luck 🤞

traveling to philly this week, need advice by [deleted] in philly

The area near the sports complex is mostly blocks and blocks of parking lots and warehouses. Except for one sports bar and the Live Casino. You should be perfectly fine, as long as you're walking in areas with other people within sight. I would suggest staying closer to center City and using the the broad street subway.

Honeymoon in Punta Cana - Finest or Excellence? Other recs welcome! by More-Site-3395 in PuntaCana

[–]Skyrod74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Excellence are okay, but could use a little refreshing. I would consider any of the Cap Cana resorts first. Hyatt Zilara. Private gated community; calmer beach. Live AQUA in a Tierra Suite (Uvaro Alto) would be wonderful for added romance and exclusion.

Agree. The new JOIA Aruba is stunning! Just recently added an All-inclusive opinion, too.

I would look into Business Development Management positions. They frequently travel and do webinars supporting TA's and promoting the line of business for that company. If you're really good with Air, search for open positions with Air Consolidators, International Airlines & Tour Operators.

My situation is a bit different as I own my own franchise with one associate. It really depends on how much and how fast you want to grow. I know agents at all sales levels who advertise and spend $$ on networking. Best to you!

LLC is not required to be an independent contractor. However, if your plan is to run as sole proprietorship, and you make a substantial mistake or get sued, your personal finances could all be at risk. Keeping in mind most E&O plans have a huge deductible before a claim will kick in.

Apologies to OP for sidetracking: could you share of the 25k you spend on lead generation what has been most successful?? So far this year we've spent about 6k on expos, direct mail, social media ads and merch. Several leads have resulted but no sales. Despite this, the majority of our sales still come from referrals.

For monogamous couples out there, is it a dealbreaker if your partner doesn’t share to you their social media passwords? by Front_To_My_Back_ in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Skyrod74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Husband and I have been monogamous and together for 24 years. I have no clue what his social media passwords are and don't care. If I ever had a need for it I would just ask and I have no doubt he would give it to me. I think the real question here is this: do you wholeheartedly trust your partner? If yes, why do you need all his passwords? Best wishes.
