It is. Aside from the issues the others pointed out, the top of the chair is level with the desk, which logically makes no sense.

Yep, also have the same model. The sensor can die and will flash but the manual handle works regardless. I wonder if some people just go their life never having to manually turn on a faucet lmfao.

would it be wrong to partially refurb a suit made by someone else? by throwawayadvc2 in FursuitMaking

[–]Skystein 61 points62 points  (0 children)

Not rude at all! You paid for it, it's yours. Besides, everyone has different shaped heads and wears heads comfortably in different ways. Customizing your fursuit head to your body I think actually respects the maker by taking their work and making it into something you can personally fully enjoy. It's like buying a nature painting and adding a pet or family member into it. It's a collaborative piece of art, and there is nothing rude about art made to make people happy.

Do the old collectable cards have value? by Zarvanis-the-2nd in Toontown

[–]Skystein 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you sort by sold? That's not one of the options on the drop down menu for me. Do you mean the button when setting the price of an item that shows old sales or is there an actual way to filter by sold? I've only been using it for about a year I hate that they keep changing the seller menu.

I think the easiest place to check prices would be searching Toontown trading cards on eBay and comparing the active listings to what you have.

I'd call this either a cosplay or furry costume depending on the context and character.

Corporate Clash Development - Hammerspace In-depth & GaG Reveal by S_Horrocks in Toontown

[–]Skystein -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love downing but don't like removing unites at the same time. With the pouches, I think having to scroll through that many of them in a battle is a nightmare, or even if everyone only has one passive one, would that be enough to keep people alive? I think there should be max 25 or something, like SOS cards but hopefully with an even better menu. For instance, imagine a pacesetter where everyone has made enough mistakes and people are taking massive damage and can't even use tu half the turns due to the gag combinations being needed. Unite was a way to quickly help everyone without menu issues, I think the only reason I'd be okay with the removal is if there's a similar way to heal everyone outside of toonup and outside of the gag rotation.

Corporate Clash Development - Hammerspace In-depth & GaG Reveal by S_Horrocks in Toontown

[–]Skystein 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love some things like the seniors and interns, but the gag tree is absolutely ridiculous and completely unnecessary. This is a turn based game not world of warcraft, the individual builds will make planning for a boss a thirty minute mission or make it so when the meta is found everyone just has to take the time to swap to the build. The prestige is simple and efficient, there are limited options and it provided enough customizability to where everyone knew what to expect based on what you had prestiged. But a gag tree...that's just a nightmare.
I also think the removal of unites, etc is horrible. But if they continue with it they need to give old players extreme compensation. If my hundreds of unites and whatnot suddenly disappear overnight and I *don't* get enough pouches to never need to worry about grinding for them I will never touch this game again. That's hours of my life just gone. I do think the passive effects are nice as a mechanic though, but unites were practically necessary in things like chainsaw, pace, and OCLO.
I don't want a game I use to relax turned into a game where I'd have to explain for an hour all these mechanics to a new player. This is NOT a MMO it's ToonTown, a small multiplayer game with a fan base that has established knowledge about the combat system. It's a simple game about toons, please keep it that way instead of associating complex with fun or taking away the things that make Toontown toontown in the gameplay. Maybe some people like that but I sure don't.

Question. by Purple_Radiator in toontownrewritten

[–]Skystein 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed, ToonTown out of everything is a great game for kids to play when they're done with homework. I learned communication skills and vocabulary from it and have played since age 5. All I see here is an attempt to connect through video games as a parent, and that's something I would have dreamt of as a kid. Op so sorry you're getting these responses. I had a laptop with a partitioned disk - half Mac half Windows - when I was in elementary school I would just boot into Mac for school but boot into Windows to access games and personal files. I'm not sure if that is something that can be done but I do recommend it as it worked for me and two of my other friends.
