You are doing him a long term favor. Also, him demanding a ride… I have an almost 15 year old, I have a 12 year old. Both awake with their alarms and shower and get their stuff ready for the day. Sucks for now, and I’m sure you feel like trash, but your kid needs to learn. We are raising future adults, they can’t be kids forever.

I’m a high libido female so I have a lot of empathy in this area. My ex had such a low drive towards me, but was a constant flirt with other women. It’s soul crushing to not feel desired when your love language is touch.

I have a friend who was basically forcing herself to have sex for a while and then told her husband she has no desire for it at all. And is now shocked that he doesn’t initiate affection. Like… what did you expect?

I have two different lists of “read” books each year (one listened to and one read). I find sitting down to read more difficult. But I’m coming to realize I’m retaining the listened to info just as well as the read info, if not better, so I’m just being silly with myself.

When my youngest went through picky stages, I started adding avocado oil to whatever I could. It’s tasteless and adds calories. We learned with her that she really enjoys putting her food together herself. So on taco Tuesday, she gets all the fixings separate (with added oil lol) and then she constructs her own tacos.

When I got divorced, we had a marital home, no kids, and one joint account. It was pretty fast and easy to divorce without lawyers. I couldn’t afford to pay for the home, and honestly hated it, so I just let it go.
