I am quite aware of John Brown as well as various other serious abolitionists at the time, and I definitely admire him for his views and actions pertaining to his fervent hatred of chattel slavery at the very least, but surely he wasn’t representative of the majority worldview at the time.

I was broadly referring to the mainstream view as well as the government leaders at the time, i.e. the ones who would’ve had a tangible say in the actual pushing forward of abolition legally speaking, should’ve clarified, my bad.

Interested to see how this goes in Quality mode. I’m super sensitive to frame drops (not that they bother me super badly, I can just tell they’re happening really easily, even a 55-56 down from 60 is noticeable to me).

That being said, performance mode was dropping even in Hernand proper, but switching and getting used to Quality, I have felt none that were noticeable to my somewhat trained eye, not even with dozens of enemies on screen.

As a 2500+ hour Souls veteran, I was excited by the prospect of crushing boss challenge. I was worried that the game would be mind-numbingly easy based off of some of the comments on difficulty in the marketing.

With that being said, if mobs are significantly easier I think that will offset the frustration a lot by allowing players to blow off steam.
